World Footbag Championships 2012: Warsaw, Poland
In case you aren't on the Announce mailing list:
Hi Footbag Players and Fans,
Oh behalf of the International Footbag Players' Association (IFPA),
and the IFPA Worlds Operating Committee (WOC), I'm pleased to announce
that the 2011 IFPA World Footbag Championships will take place next
summer in Warsaw, Poland! The event will tentatively take place the
week of July 30, 2012.
This year, we were lucky enough to have three very good bids to
consider: Warsaw, Paris, and Boise. This was not an easy choice, and
I would like to give heartfelt thanks to the bidders from the other
teams -- we hope they will bid again for a future year.
Congratulations to the Warsaw host team, led by Wiktor Debski, for
winning the bid. We are very excited about the opportunity that Warsaw
will present for next year's event. Stand by in the following weeks as
more details emerge from Wiktor's team and from WOC, as we start the
next phase of planning.
Cheers,
Julie Symons

I'm going to do my best to make it to this one. I need to refresh up on my polish and footbagging though before then.
"...You have to get, really, practice, like eight hours every day. Then you get good level and then you can compete....There is no money, so players are like big family and that is what I -like" -Vasek-

so worlds come closer and my plannings start right now. I will most likely be able to do the triple this year, euros, bembelcup, worlds!!!
so I'm looking to share a hostel room together with some people from all over the world for the event...
also i wanna stay in poland a little longer, possibly one more week, any suggestions where i should go beside warsaw would be nice (even nicer if there are footbag people)...
best regards
