Austrian Footbag Championships 2011 - Dec. 9-11 - Vienna

Post by mr.alex » 03 Nov 2011 13:22

The 10th Austrian Footbag Championships 2011 will take place from December 9th to 11th in Vienna! This is an open event, so all foreigners are welcome to come and compete and celebrate with us!

However, you have to register online! There will be no on-site registration! In order to secure your sleeping place at a local player's home, you should register online as soon as possible. If you prefer a hostel or hotel we could look for one near the event site(s) but there won't be any special rates.

The schedule and all further information can be found here:
http://www.footbag.org/events/show/1318673467

For those who came last year: it's the same locations, but we got a smaller gym on saturday afternoon.

If you have any questions post here or send me a mail/message.
hope to see you there :)

I'm not good at finding cheap travel stuff, but I guess bus is the cheapest, but it's a really long way.
I just tried out checkfelix.com for cheap flights and there are some at around 160 euros (both ways), but with one stop inbetween.

Austrian Champs are coming soon.
there'll be also quite a few international players, like the bag-stitching-machine and world championess in circle hania, a big car full of czech players and some friends from hungary.

don't forget to register online before the deadline, because only registered players are able to compete and get a free dinner at saturday night. it would be nice for the organizers if you register as soon as possible and not on the last day ;) thanks!

see you soon!
