I'll have a few nice Pipenberg bags for sale at the event. First come first served, so seek me out. $25 a bag.

Does someone want to take a stab at doing a banner ad similar to the one we have up for Worlds, but for this event? Even if you just send me the t-shirt graphic or something I could use, I'd make it (allankh@gmail.com) ...

I wish I could go to this event!

Thanks Allan, I haven't received the shirt design yet, but when I do I'll post it.

Registration will take place at my house from 6-11pm.
The address is 1735 SE 41st ave Portland, OR 97214
It's located only a few blocks from Cesar Chavez(39) and Hawthorne; just south of New Season's market.

I'm sorry I won't be able to entertain any early arrivals.

Let's have an awesome US Open!

The check-in party will be an opportunity for everyone to pay their fees and submit your routine music if you don't email it.

Later today I'll be posting a bunch of updates including where to email your routine music, an updated Saturday schedule, party spot for Saturday night, routine ranking and circle pools, Sunday shred location, t-shirt image, and more.

Thanks to Chris and Joe and the rest of the Sole Purpose club for putting together this year's US Open. I had a great time and will be back next year. Thanks to Sunny and Reilly for making up the foursome to have the Intermediate events to compete in. (Where are all the Intermediate players -- is everyone a beginner or a pro around here??)

Steve Goldberg -- what the hey, don't I get honorable mention for winning the Masters Masters division and Sunny for winning the Women's Open (by virtue of the fact that we were the only ones in our respective divisions (lol)).

Anyway, thanks again, I had a great time!!

Thank you to Chris Dean, Joe K, and everybody else who helped make USO happen this year. Much fun was had. Thank you too to everybody who judged or helped out in other ways (Evan's DJing, Nate Linscott's generous water/food donation, etc.).

Here's a write up of my USO experience.

It was great seeing everybody and shredding. Can't wait til next year!

Ken
