Re: Worlds 2012 Updates
I agree. I liked Milan's better, even though he repeated a lot of his bigger tricks. I felt that it was choreographed much better.
Re: Worlds 2012 Updates
1. Yes, that Honza routine that was posted was from the Finals, and therefore the winning routine.
2. Aleksi and Milan also went dropless with strong routines. They also both had lower seeds, so they went earlier in the Finals.
3. There was a technical glitch with Honza's routine music, so there was a long wait between Honza going up to compete and when he had to do his routine. I wouldn't be surprised if there was as many as 30 minutes between Aleksi's routine and Honza starting his. This probably posed a challenge to the judges, as they had to consider Honza's dropless against routines they saw quite some time ago.
4. I will do an in-depth write up in my blog when I get a chance. For now though, just wanted to give props to the whole Worlds staff for running a great event.

Re: Worlds 2012 Updates
I had Milan edging Honza by a bit and in second place. I also noticed you young computer folks had more, longer delays in this years event then I think is acceptable( still good job organizers ) This is a product of the technology and human error. One solution is to gear up a minimum of two computers (tablets, notebook etc) at ALL events, especially worlds. If you have ever done a routine in competition you now how this blows you mind when your music is screwed up(good job Honza). My research has found that there was peoples names next to the wrong music(really in the finals!!) there was a screen freeze in the earlier rounds. We had about 25 laptops on site!! I am directing this years East Coast Footbag Championships, we will fill 2 computer at a minimum with everyones music, and this will be cross checked before the routines begin. Again great job Poland you did well but technology let you down!!

Re: Worlds 2012 Updates
I wasn't there, but saw some photos on Facebook from the tour given by Gosia. I think this is a great idea and every Worlds committee should organize something similar. The Berlin crew organized something similar post-Worlds when I was there a few years ago.
Re: Worlds 2012 Updates
So...can we have some statistics like the number of players and spectators?
Did anyone make it into BAP?
Who applied for next year?
