Brantford Ontario Jam! January 4-6 2012 - Confirmed

I'm a bit confused by the title of the thread since I don't see discussion anywhere in here that verifies how those dates came to be. I might just have to say I can't make it if it's on the 4th. Although I could if someone would confirm for me ASAP.

Main jam will be early afternoon saturday through sunday noon, but if anyone wants to show up friday night the invite is open and theres crash space and fun to be had.

Sorry for the confusion Erik.

I decided to make definitive dates so that people (including you!) would be able to plan for it. Johnny is the man hosting the jam and as such I went with his date preference of the weekend. It only seemed fair. Unfortunately it's not possible to accommodate everyone I just figured that if I chose the date at least people would have a chance to plan for it.

Looks like it's on, hope everyone can make it!

I'm 90% coming. Not sure what would stop me. Bus prices are cool and I think I'd arrive around 9:30 PM on Friday. Haven't bought a ticket yet, so not confirmed on that yet, but sounds good. I haven't played in months and hope I can get a practice session in before then!

This is quite a handful of people . I'll see what I can do to bring you all in, but it's not going to be luxurious!

IMPORTANT: Whenever possible come prepared with your own blanket, pillow, small air mattress or sleeping bag, and a towel. I'm a young, single guy and I don't exactly budget much for linen . MANY PEOPLE (3/4) HAVE STILL NOT CONTACTED ME. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU'LL BE ARRIVING/IF YOU HAVE AN AIR MATTRESS

Breakfast joint, grocery store, lcbo, and shred site are all within a 10 minute walking radius.

To those arriving by personal vehicle point your GPS to 140 Dalhousie Street. Beware of timed street parking. I'll try to arrange something.
To those arriving by train you are well within walking distance but if you are super lazy the cab to my place should be 5-7 dollars.
To those arriving by greyhound/bus you are getting dropped off pretty much right on my doorstep. 2 short blocks away.

I'm going to a Ballet in Toronto, at ~noon Saturday. So, I can only imagine I'll be entirely missing the shred on Saturday.

I'd be down to shred on Sunday, though, and hell, even Saturday in the evening.. But, I'm sure I'd be late, and, everyone would be tuckered out.

I wont need Crash space, as I'll just drive to and from Brantford..
