footbag event idea

Post by RRW13 » 19 Jun 2004 17:49

This past saturday i was at mall of america anyway there was this yo-yo championship where beginners and pros entered this compition. So I was thinking that Mall of America would be good to hold a footbag event because each day there are thousands of shoppers to watch and plus it would get more people intrested into the sport.

so what you think?

Around Christmas time in West-Ed you couldn't find the room to turn around let alone run a tuornament. . .
I still think West-Ed would be cool tho, just at a different time of year.

Where do you live? Just wondering. You could go on the HMV Stage.

There's about a dozen places in west ed that could be used for such an event. HMV stage would be good. There's also a couple other stages in the mall. The fountain in the food court is also pretty good for traffic. If it was a big enough event the ice rink would be prime. I've seen them hold sports tournaments/award shows there before.

I vote boxing day.

Sorry - I'm a little confused. Are you guys talking about a particular mall?

Is there a HMV stage in every mall in America - or just one particular malls. Do you have mall franchises in the US and every mall is identical?

just curious - and I think it's a great idea.

There are chain malls, like Cyrstal Run and stuff, but they're all owned by Clear Channel, or something. 90% of the stores in the malls are franchises though.
There is a mall called "Mall of America" Its famous cuz its big.
I live in Paramus New Jersey the mall capitol of the world, we are home of the first indoor mall, and now we have four different malls. Which includes over ten Different GAPS, Including Baby GAP, GAP Kids, and The Gap, oh and GAP Body. Now thats alot of pink clothing.

I kinda hate malls but its a good idea.

The Hmv stage is a stage at the hmv store in West Edmonton Mall. The mall is in Edmonton Alberta.

I don't know if you were talking to me there, but if you were, I live in Maidstone, SK. It's 30 minutes from the Alberta border and I go to Edmonton a few times a year.

Yeah Jeremy, West Edmonton Mall (WEM) is the biggest mall in the world. Alberta represent biatch! :)

Yeah, I could see it happening. I'm sure it would cost something, I've no idea what amount.

Actually, I think there's a bigger one in Tokyo nowadays, Qphox. But yah, it's a mall so large that it's a tourist attraction.
