Funtastiks is the same weekend every year; Labor Day Weekend.

People have told me that they have school on that Monday, but I never believe them. Class on a Federal Holiday? Do they give you exams on Christmas too?

Come to think of it, the last person who told me that they had class on Labor Day was also from upstate New York. Whats up with that?

maybe I will be able to make it out this year :)
the last two years I was infact unable to go because of school related events, usually in the fall I work for my universitys residence internet service so we always had to be there over the weekend when the new froshs moved in, incase they needed help. But this year I am working somewhere else in the fall so if I take the monday off, so I should be good to go :)

I will be there, and I may bring along a couple of newbies with me. I plan to compete as well. 8)

In case I can't convince my parents to stay...is there anyone who can provide crash space? If not, I might only go for 1 day, which wouldn't be so bad, but wouldn't be as good as 3.

Anyone fill me in on "travel and staying" details? Are we all staying in the same hotel and estimated cost for each night? Anything else I should know?

there is one host hotel, where everyone stays pretty much. Its 76 bucks a night. the hotel shreds there are the best! You can also stay at a campground, but not as many people stay there, though Im sure you'll find a couple people there.

ps- tom if you don't come, I'm going to kick you in the shins next time I see you.
