Below is a link to a modification tutorial I just made. It shows you how to use tubing to modify your toe box and inside area.

I personally recommend the side tubing modification. ESPECIALLY if you have had trouble with roll off. I used to always play with a sand bag, then when i switched to a pellet bag, i experienced alot of rolloff problems (who am i kidding, i've always had rolloff problems). After doing this side tubing mod, it cut my roll off i'd say in half.

JUST DO IT! :D

What kind of lavers were those black ones to start out with?

Those were black suede Lavers, I mod'd them like leathers, and removed the outter suede layer off the toe and inside to reveal some sort of mesh lining.

That looks like the same stuff that is left after you mod a leather.

Those shoes are seriously SO sexy.

Props on the super creative modding, your site was my frist experience I ever had with wittnessing the modding of lavers. I had in my mind every single word you guys used in your tutorial when I modded my own.

hey mosher, if you mod your new balance (or are they clima cools?) like this i would soo want to see a pic. if anyone does this mod to their lavers or any other shoe, I'd love to see a pic. this mod would open up the field of shoes....most people hate either the toe box on a shoe, or the inside. Either way I like it more than large globs of shoe goo on the insides.

Geez, they look nice.
I won't mod my shoes 'til I've got money to buy new ones if I wreck 'em.

Tubing looks soooo great. Thank you Hood. :)
