I really liked the reactions of some of the competitors in this round after they hit their combos.

Like Rob, who seemed to pause in a moment of uncertainty, before looking up almost to see if his camera had indeed caught the combo.

And Seath, I love the way he threw down that blur and then just whipped the bag up to a hand catch. It seemed really powerful .. Then of course, there was his ... yelling.

Tom's reaction was really funny too, it seemed like kind of a relief that he had hit the combo, but then the little shrug because he knew he probably could have hit the combo in better control.

Fun stuff... I love seeing the reactions often times almost as much as the combos.

Oh yeah, and also for anyone wondering, in the slow mo for my video .. As soon as I hit it, I said "That wasn't clean" and then as I high five Sergey he says "It was good". It's funny to hear people talk in slow motion.

It was really hard for me to decide between Mosher and Rob. Rob's assasin was definately wicked but I thought he could have hit something harder than a dimwalk in the middle. The pdx whirl was tight as hell though! :D I ended up voting for Mosher because his links looked really cool. Yeah, he could've had more control, but his trick variety really was awesome. So, props to all who entered and congrats to Mosher.

Whee! That was fun!

I am excited for the next round.

I am willing to stitch a bag for the winner of the *next* round!

Thanks for voting for me whoever did, I felt that I had a pretty hard combo for me. I had never linked any of those tricks so pulling off all 3 was pretty fun. I felt that getting a pixie out of blizzard was a little hard too.

Cole's smashers were so smooth, I really like the flow of the combo.

Rory's was really impressive I thought. It had alot of style and quite a bit of difficulty too. I say that also since I don't do the components you used that much.

This was a fun round, I am ready for round 3! :D

Yeah Congrats Tom!!

I gave Ryan an anti vote for scaring me at the end of his vid 8O . It's a shame Rob didn't win since in my opinion his combo was definitly the best. I can only presume that people didn't like two pixie moves on the same side. :?

Here is how I perceived this round.

Rob Johnson
Assasin > Dimwalk > Pdx Whirl

The assassin was cool, and the pdx whirl was real clean. But 2 consecutive pixie moves using the same foot didn`t do it for me. Mentally, I processed this combo as Cool, hard (for Div2) alpine trick, standard trick, styly finish. Put something stylier in the second slot, like toe drifter, and I would have likely voted this as best.

Joe Kulacz
Pixie ss clipper > Blur > Atomsmasher

Nice variety of sets, nice combo. But nothing stood out to me as exceedingly hard or stylish. A good combo, but nothing eye-catching. If you had reversed the direction of one or two dexes, then it would have been a contender.

Cole Hobson

Atomsmasher > Atomsmasher > Double Legover

Atom-atom is very nice, but dlo seems too easy and bail-ly. The third move is what took this one out of the running for me.

Rory Dawson
Muted Pixie Clipper > Gyro Mirage > Double Legover

I voted for this one. The whole combo looked smooth, the first trick was styly, the second trick was real stlyly, and I appreciated that the pixie set and the final legover were executed with different toes. I find that most peoples strong dlo and strong pixie use the same foot, which is why smog is such a common triple. Nice style Rory... could have been harder, but the style of the links made up for it in my book.

Ryan Seath
Dimwalk > Ripwalk > Blur

I liked that you used 3 different sets. I thought it was a bit standard though.

Henry Griese
Pixie Legover > Smear > Ducking Butterfly

both pixies is nice, but the pause definitely hurt you.

Tom Mosher
Fairy Butterfly > Blizzard > Pixie Whirl

This was maybe my number 2 choice. fairy on one side, pixie on the other, and blizzard is cool. It was pretty close between you and Rory, and I just went with Rory based on style. I thought his combo flowed better, and was executed more smoothly. You did win on difficulty though.

Nice batch of combos, big thank you to everbody for submitting videos. I`m gonna try and enter a couple Japanese players` combos for the next Division 2 competition.

I'm too late to vote but I would've voted for Rory. Super stylie, I'm a fan
Tom's could have gotten my vote but he was all over the place. Floor planes and travel only count when it's intentional

Haha, you mean travel is less impressive when you cover the entire area in three tricks?

no, I mean travel is less impressive when it's unintentional. You're moving around because your fairy set didn't go straight up. The combo is really hard and cool though so if you hit it with more control I probably would have voted for you. IMO I'd rather see something that's moderately difficult but unique and hit with style than something that's really hard that looks out of control. I'm pretty pickey when it comes to style though. Congrats on the win.

It was really bittersweet when I hit my combo, I knew it was wild but right then I reaaaallly didn't care. Cole was waiting on me to get my video to him so he could post the comp and go to bed. I hit it, shrugged and figured that it would suffice.

I was bummed at first that I was so out of control on mine but now I see it as a chance to look really controlled and impressive next round.

Speaking of the next round, I can hardly wait!

edit: and yes, that fairy set was crap! it through the whole combo out of whack because I had to chase after it.
