Thanks Jim :D I love comments in my blog, it's cool that anyone reads it :D
I played a little today. I know I shouldn't but what the hell, I won't play tommorow. I practiced a lot of Blenders, because they're weak, and managed to hit it BSOS. Ripstein is hard! I tried it MANY times, and even hit it once, but it was not controlled and I missed the hand catch. That trick is so cool, it would be nice to own it like Vasek :P

I also practiced Spinning with a combo: Spin Clip > Spin Butter > Spin Osis. I've hit it on my strong side easly, but only got Spin Clip > Spin Butter on my flipside. Blender > Pdx Whirl was a nice feeling too. I footed Spin Osis > Ducking Clip > Double Spinning Clip - that combo have such a cool flow! :D

I forgot to write that Patrycja Szczeniowska (I think she is "Patty" on this forum) came to play with us. You can find a video with her under that link:
http://www.freedomfootbags.com/multimed ... mmer04.mov
She has got such a unique style and cool tricks :D It was great to play with her.

I'm still not playing. It's hard :? If anyone is interested here's the link to my Finals routine from Zocha Jam 04 competition:
http://www.footbag.org/gallery/showset/Ners
I know it's not very good, and I interact with the crowd way too much :) But hey, I've been playing a little more than a year, and I was tired from playing hard the day before :P

We've got a camera :!: Olaf, a guy who plays with us now, has a camera, and soon we will produce hardcore shred videos :D That's so cool! Be prepared for Hania Special and other stuff :D

We filmed today, and I couldn't resist playing a little. But my leg is not hurting anymore, so I think, that I will be able to play on Saturday. Here's what I've hit:

Torque > Torque
Torque > Ripwalk

The first link is cool, it would be great to hit consecutive Torques easily. I was pretty close to Torque > Mobius, but I've lost my balance and smashed into the radiator. Ouch  I also tried Torque > Symp Whirl, but no luck - it's hard!

There was a different session today. We met at the Galeria Dominikańska (a shopping center) and went to play in a... Baptist Church 8O It didn't look like a church at all. There was a huge projector that displayed film on a wall, a room with DJ stuff (adapters or however it's called), and a cafe upstairs. There was a filming workshop, and how we were told at the place, we were the subject! :D It was pretty cool to be filmed :D

Here's the stuff I've hit:
Spin Clip > Spin Osis BSOS
Spin Clip > Spin Butter > Spin Osis midstring
Spin Clip > Gyro Clip (rpt) > run
Assasin > Phoenix > run

I was also pretty close to a cool link - Spin Osis > Pdx Eggbeater :D It feels so awesome, I think I read about it in someones blog. I also got some stickers with www.footbag.com.pl adress on it, I'm going to stick them in trams and on bus stops :D Underground!

About 3,5 hours of shred today 8O My legs are feeling sore, but it was worth it! We played with Damian Budzik again, it was great. I hit some new stuff, here it is:

Inspinning Mirage

Spinning Clipper > Inspinning Clipper :D
Spin Osis > Butterfly > Butterfly > Osis > Inspin Osis > Butterfly > Butterfly > Inspin Osis
Drifter > Torque > footed Drifter

Inspinning is so cool! I would like to be as good at it as Peter Irish is :D I was also really close to hitting Nemesis again. My leg don't hurt me anymore, so I'm starting to shuffle again. I've hit this combo:
Smear > Dimwalk > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Blur > Dimwalk > Sidewalk > run
It's pretty basic, but good :D Now that I'm not injured anymore I'll skool hard! Footbag RulZ! :D

Comments are welcome :D

Another good session today. New stuff:

Phoenix > Symp. Whirling Swirl > Butterfly
Osis > Spin Osis BSOS
run > Spin Clip > Spin Butter > Spin Osis > PS Whirl
Spin Clip > rev Walkover > Whirl midstring
a string with Blurry Whirl BS and Spin Pdx Whirl

I was super stoked, because somewhere in the middle of session I landed Montage first try! I wasn't 100% shure if the duck was deep enough, but Damian Budzik said it was clean. Woot! :D I worked on Inspinning a little, landed second Inspinning Mirage, this time it was totally controlled :) Before shredding, I watched Where The Ripwalk Ends again and saw Allan Haggett hitting Spin Osis > Inspin Osis (rpt) 8O I missed it before. Hardcore stuff...

And of course, once again I forgot to practice my routine! Argh! :x

A Bomb in my school? 8O
When I was at school today, during one of the breaks I went with my friend to get tea from the vending machine. When we were going back to the class we met our class going to the exit. They said that we have to leave the building because there is a possibility that a bomb has been planted in our school. All the people were crowding outside (it was pretty cold, and we couldn't take our jackets), and police sirens could be heard. We all thought that it's just tryout of evacuating procedures, but as it turned out, someone really called the school and said that there is a bomb in the building and it will explode in an hour. 8O There was no explosion, so it was probably a joke.
Anyway there was no lessons today, and that's good. Teachers said that were going to have lessons on Saturday.
Yeah, right, I'll be there for shure

I had a sweet solo session today. I worked on my consecutive tricks and 5's, here's the stuff I've hit:

Drifter x4
Pdx Whirl x4
Spinning Pdx Whirl BS
Symp. Whirling Swirl > Spin Pdx Whirl
Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl BS
Phoenix > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl once again :)

I'm really happy with flip Spin Pdx Whirl. I've been working on my flip spins for some time, but only tried spin clip, osis and butterfly. I thought that something bigger after flip spin is too hard, but today I actually tried and hit that tricks with a few attempts. I love Symp. Whirling Swirl! :D It was super cool to hit Spin after it. I think I could hit a nice Sick3 - Phoenix > Symp. Whirling Swirl > Spin Pdx Whirl - that would be nice :D I think I'll try it on my next session. I also hit Mobius and Pdx Torque BS. My Torques are pretty weak, so i was nice to hit those tricks.

6 hours of shredding today - it was awesome. I hit some new tricks, worked on Illusions, and had great fun. Here are the highlights:

Drifter > Spin Clip BSOS
Smudge
Blizzard BSOS
Symp. Mirage > Flail midstring
Symp. Whirl BSOS

Peeking Spinning Osis?

I'm not really shure how to call that trick. Job's for it would look like that:
Clip > Back Spin [bod] (spot) > Back Spin [bod] > Front Spin [bod] > Same Clip [xbd][del]

It's basically something like a Gyro set, followed by a quick spot and spinning osis in the opposite direction. I saw that trick performed by Lon Smith on one of monsterhack videos (I think it was Balance of Power trailer part2). It's really cool to do, all that fast spinning and opposite directions :D .

Hey NuR! Thanks a lot, but most of Polish pro players are waay better than me. :) I read your footblog too, and see that you are progressing very fast! I also hope to play with Munich crew on Euros - that would be phat :D

I had another good session today. Damian Budzik hit Nemesis! I didn't see it, but other players did :D It's so cool, now there are two people in Poland that have hit that trick :D Hania hit lot's of cool stuff: PS Whirl, Mobius, Pdx Blender and she was close to Spin Pdx Whirl. I think she will write all this in her blog, but hey, it's really cool :D Here's the stuff that I've hit:

Janiwalk > Blurry Whirl
Phoenix > Blurry Whirl > Janiwalk
Janiwalk > Spin Clip > run
PS Whirl > Ripwalk

a run with Whirl > Osis (rpt) and Whirl > Pdx Whirl (rpt)

I'm really happy with the second combo - it was really awesome to hit! I tried to spin after PS Whirl, and got some sets, but it was still not very controlled and I couldn't hit anything out of it. I also tried Symp. Whirling Swirl > Blurry Whirl, but only got close once. Maybe tommorow.

Our footbag crew is doing a demo in Hotel Wrocław today at 11:00 in the evening 8O My legs are sore from playing so I don't know how it will turn out :) But at least we're promoting the sport!

I had another nice session today. I had a birthday party yesterday and ate lots of good stuff, so I didn't have much energy to play, but still had great fun and hit some new stuff:

Reactor!
Blurry Drifter BS
Spin Pdx Whirl > Ripwalk

I'm really happy about that Reactor, because I wanted to hit that trick for some time but never really went for it. I also hit Ripstein for the second time. Blurry Drifter was also nice to hit - Drifters are very stylie I think. :D My friend Lechu hit Drifter > Drifter! I have to go to sleep now...

I had another session today. It was good, but I didn't have much energy. New stuff:
Barfly > Barfly
Spinning Osis > Drifter BSOS

I also hit Blurriest BS. I'm working on my routine and it's quite good. I hope I won't have 100 drops on Footbag Fiesta tournament. Tommorow we're having a video session! My friend will come and do some filming of us. Expect a video from Wrocław soon!

Soooooo... Only 1 day left to the Footbag Fiesta tournament which will be held in Szczecin :D Our crew from Wroclaw (Hania, Daniel, Dexter, Lechu and me) will be there and rip it up  I'm pretty excited and can't wait for tommorow. The only disadvantage is that Szczecin is far from here, and the trip will take about 6 hours. But I'm shure it will be worth it! :D When I come back I will write how it went. And now I'm going to sleep, because I have a hard exam tommorow :?

Thanks a lot Michał and Jericho! It's going to be great! :D I think I'll go and study some after writing this.

I called Lechu today to tell him when we're meeting and all the other stuff about the tournament. He is not going :( ... He injured his knee pretty badly, and in a very strange way. On our last training session he just bend his knees to pick up the bag and something went "crack". He went to the doctor and he said that he won't play for at LEAST 6 weeks 8O That's very depressing. And it happened just before the tournament! Bad luck... I'm sad, because I know how hard it is. I really, really hope that he will come back to the sport when his knee will get better. When I was starting he was the person that played with me. Get better Lechu!

Footbag Fiesta was awesome! The place that the tournament was held was a club called "Hypnoza". There was enough light and free space, so there were no problems with shredding. I placed 3rd in Open, even though I didn't do very well on my routine. I got 8 drops so I'm very happy I made it to the top3 :D I landed my Sick3 (Phoenix > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl) - it was pretty much the most uncontrolled combo I've ever hit :P When jumping to the PS Whirl I lost my balance, and almost crashed to the ground. But I got it :D That Sick put me on the 3rd place. When BigOne started I wasn't very shure what to hit. I tried Montage and got really stoked when I hit it first try 8O Then I tried Fury, but couldn't hit it. Another Polish player, Adam Cieszkiel hit Montage as well, so we both got 1st place :D That was funny :) There was some hardcore shred going on, all the players were busting huge! Kamil Wysocki played really good, he hit some crazy in his runs, like Tornado, or Whirlwind Rake.

Piechu (player from Szczecin) let us sleep in his place, and gave us great breakfast in the morning - thanks Piechu!

There's a video from one of our training session on footbag.org - here's the link:
http://www.footbag.org/gallery/showset/shredvideo
You can see some nice runs in it, and also good tricks. I'm going to create a topic in the Video section of this forum now :D
