Hey Daryl, I don't think I'll go to Footjam :( I would love to, but don't have the cash. About Atomic - here are some drills for linking that set:
Tap > Legover (rpt)
Atom Smasher > Mirage (rpt)
The set should go under your knee (hippy movement). Your ankle should be locked and only move up and down, if it goes to your side the set will be less controlled and harder to play out of. I hope that this advice will help you :) From what I've been reading in your blog you make awesome progress! Ducking Illusion? That's hard :) Soon you'll be going guiltless!

Well the video session that was supposed to happen today didn't happen. The guys that said they will film us didn't show up, so we visited the main coordinator who said that they send him a message yesterday saying that they're no longer interested. :?

We're going to make a vid anyway - my friend Gosia will film us tommorow. This will be a promoting vid for our tournament "Fire Jam". We already have some ideas how it should look, so we only need to record :D

I had a short session and hit:

Vertigo BS
Symp. DLO

The other player that was playing with me got tired very quickly and I played by myself for the second half of the sesh. I got close to Blurriest Rake, it's a funny feeling trick :D I also started a run with Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Pdx Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Drifter > Drifter. Maybe if would school my Stepping Ducking I could hit Blurry Vertigo - that would be sweet.

We filmed some good material :D I think the vids are going to be sweet! I'm going to start editing them today. We're going to make two vids - trailer for our tournament and another one with the rest of the shred :)

I played shortly today, but I got a little late and there was nobody on our shred site. Maybe I'll catch someone for a quick sesh.

Drifters are cool.

Today, finally after 3 days of fighting with Adobe Premiere, many system crashes and data losses (sp?) we finished our vid. The link is in the video session under "Wroclaw Shred" topic. There are some good combos in it, and I hope you'll like it.

I practiced a lot of Spinnig nad Ducking, I think I was inspired by Dylan Fry from Jeremy O'Wheel's vid :D My flip Spins started to work nicely and I got some nice combos. I remember Spinning Clip > Gyro Clip > Gyro Mirage BSOS - I thought it's a nice link. I worked on PS Whirl too, hitting it back to back a few times. My Barflies are getting better.

Olav hit Ducking Mobius and Mobius > Mobius today. This guy is crazy.

Another session tommorow :D

i reaally wanna see some Olav footage, cause the stuff
he writes in his blog sounds really crazy, i mean he's only
shredding for like, what 6 months 8O and i'm also curious
to see yours and Hania's progress :P 21% finished...
it better be worth the wait

thanx 4 the atomic advice, by the way !

Too bad you cant come to footJam  see ya in Wroclaw :D

I'm afraid that you'll have to wait some more time to see Olav shredding :( He was at some lake with his family when we were making that vid so his not in it. But I'm shure he'll make it to our next filming session :)

Good session today. Highlights:

Drifter > Vortex > Drifter and Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl in one string
Pdx Whirl > Spinning Clipper (rpt) and Drifter > Spinning Clip (rpt) in one string

And some other stuff that I've forgotten :P Olav hit Spinning Mobius today  :) My legs hurt and I'm tired, because I went to a big concert right after shred. Another sesh tommorow!

We played for about 3 hours today. In the beggining my game was a bit shaky, but it got better with time. New stuff:

Drifter > Sidewalk (rpt) - harder then I thought

I guess that's it. I got the dexes for Clown Face, maybe I could hit it if I tried hard. We will see tommorow.

The weather is awful today. But the session was good :) I focused on trying new links and veried combos today and worked on double dexes (as Hania told me to do :) ) here are some combos that I hit:

Barfly > Barfly midstring (also Pdx Whirl > Barfly BS)
Dimwalk > Barfly > Osis > Butterfly > Ripwalk > Scorpion's Tail > run
Barrage BSOS and Drifter > Barrage in one run
Spinning Osis > DLO BSOS
Eggbeater midstring! :D
Ripwalk > Ripwalk > Butterfly Swirl > run

I got some nice combos, but felt uncontrolled. I guess that's because I don't have those links dialed. I have a Physics test tommorow, and German test the next day. Just great.

I worked on my 5's today, and hit:

Blurriest BSOS
Blurry Whirl BS and Tomahawk in one run
Janiwalker and Pdx Blender one run

And some other stuff that I dpn't remember. I found out that when I'm shredding, before I start a run I pick up a theme for it. I have 3 themes, I think:
- varied run (harder links that I don't try often, the more genuine the better, basically nothing above 5 adds)
- 5's run (trying to hit 5's - the more the better, linked mostly with bops and easy tricks)
- long run (one dex, od dexless tricks mostly, spinning, ducking, try to go as long as I can)

It's pretty funny actually :) I also practiced my routine and did it with one drop and two drops (yeah, I only practiced it twice), I guess it's a good routine and if I'll keep schooling it, maybe I'll be able to hit it dropless. And maybe not. I have to work on my Sick3 combo too - I don't have a big hit ratio with it... Next shred on Friday.

Wie war dein Test ? Wenn du beim deutsch lernen so fleissig bist,
wie beim Footbag spielen, ist bestimmt alles gut gegangen :P !

It was interesting to read, that you chose themes for your shred
aswell ; Max from our team does the same thing sometimes for his runs.

Props on all your 5's, blurriest bsos, jani and pdx blender, thats huge !
I bet you were very happy while/after hitting these :D !

Keep up all that good stuff and thanks for your entirely positive vibe,
and all the inspiration !

Heh NuR  I think I understand what you said - playing footbag is way easier then learning German :) The test went ok though, I got 4 so I'm happy. Footbag ist am bestern (?) ! :D Du bist auch sehr gut footbag Spieler und lernst schnell :)

I'm not very good at this  I hit two new, cool tricks today:

Gangsta Party
Quantum Drifter

I'm so happy about the second one, and I think it's one of the hardest moves I've ever hit :D I didn't practice my routine, because the radio that we play our CD's with was gone. I hope it will be back tommorow.

Good shredding day today :) At first we did a demo in Galeria Dominikańska (one of the biggest shop centres in Wrocław). It went well, there was a band that played some good, funky music for us while we were shredding. The crowd liked it and we gave away some flyers with info about our tournament. I hit Blurry Whirl, Blurriest and PS Whirl BSOS - that felt nice :D Then I got back home but didn't stay in it long - there was our planned training session on 17:00. There were only me and Olav but we did some good strings. I footed Pixie Mobius a few times, and I think I can definitely hit it. I also had a run that went like:
some stuff > Drifter > Drifter > some bops > Vortex > some bops > Vertigo > handcatch 8O ... :o -> :D :lol:
I also hit a run with Blurry Whirl > Spin Pdx Whirl and other Blurry Whirl > Blurriest. And I didn't practice my routine once again

RUBBERMAN! :D
* celebration dance *

I tried it today and hit the whole combo first try - the best feeling ever :D My good friend Bucek came to shred today - it was so cool to see him and shred together. He had to stop training a few months ago, beacuse of his graduation exams, but they're finally over! More people to shred with :D Some other stuff that I've hit today:

Pdx Whirl > Pdx Whirl and Barfly > Barfly one string
a run with Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl, Symp. Whirling Swirl, Janiwalker, Blurriest, Tomahawk and Spinning Pdx Whirl

I also practiced my routine once. It didn't go very well and I had a few slops, but still not many drops. My legs hurt, gotta eat :)

Thx ptaku :D And I don't think that Rubberman is boring, Sidewalk > Ripwalk (rpt) - that's boring! :P

We shredded in the centre of Wrocław, on the Town Square today. It was fun, but we couldn't really practice. We tried to play to the passing people, and sometimes they even gave us some curious looks. I hit Drifter > Barrage BSOS, that's a cool feeling link! I'm going to work more on Xbd Rakes, beeing able to hit them consecutively would be nice. I'm going to practice my routine tommorow, the Fire Jam competition is on next weekend! It's going to be a blast!

Thx Daryl :D I'm shure that with your dedication and progress you'll hit it soon as well :)

Very good session today. I had lots of energy and hit some good runs. I remember hitting Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl > Scorpion's Tail second try, and combos with other 5's (one with Spin Pdx Whirl > Butterfly > Tomahawk). I got really close to Clown Face a few times. I think that I should school my Eggbeater more, and then I will be able to hit it. I also BSOS'ed Mobius again, and it felt really nice :D I can't wait for Fire Jam!

I had a really nice session yesterday, I was pretty relaxed but still managed to hit some new links:

Blurry Drifter > Food Processor
Spin Pdx Whirl > PS Whirl
Blurry Whirl > Bedwetter

I also remember some good combos, like one with Drifter, Pdx Drifter, Pdx Whirl and Barfly BS. I also hit a cool drill!

Pdx Whirl > Pdx Drifter (rpt) :D

I need to work on my flip Eggbeater, it sucks. And Torques too, there's never enough schooling them  All right, time to prepare for today's session!

Fire Jam was awesome! There were many players from all around the Poland. We shredded a lot and it was great fun :D I got 5th place in Open, which is quite good. There was free food and water, and cool shows - Breakdancing Battle was especially hardcore :D

Big props for the tournament directors - everything went really well and on time! Time to start the countdown for next tourney :)
