kicked a bit today while I was skating
a couple of the grom kids were blown away...that's a good sign for the demo
hit a few nice runs with stuff like diving osis, terrage... that bag seemed to jsut keep in the right place...which was nice
I think I'm gonna work on pdx torque it could be quite fun

I saw I was about to slip off the page, so I decided to update
haven't kicked in a while
due to the fact that at Unearth I went in the pit, and got fucking killed, so now I'm hobbling round like a cripple
this is really worrying me
I have to do a demo next weekend.... so I don't really want to go to the doctor to check out my hip cos he'll probably say "no demo for you"
the fact that it's a paid demo...means, no demo = no money
so I don't really need to do anything too impressive, I think I'll make it a lot less taxing than originally intended...maybe I'll be feeling better by next week
oh yeah I'm also incredibly sick...so everything's great at the moment....
np Alexisonfire- Accidents
ahahh this was my song from the Aussie titles, glad I can still listen to it, cos it's a great song

damn, relegate to the second page
kicked a little today
it was a very annoying session, as I was really struggling to hit a lot of basic stuff...I hit some reasonable runs...one had dimwalk and diving osis in it....one was about a string of 20ish tiltless, but generally there were a lot of drops and a lot of me saying fuck
I'm doing a demo tomorrow
I get money, which makes everything a-ok

hmmm nothing new to report
but I did a demo today for the myfuture people
I've been playing SHITHOUSE (even for me) the last couple of weeks and it was very annoying, but I seem to be hitting some form again
(I hit phoenix on stage)
but overall it seemed to go pretty well.... the bags they had were more like juggling balls, so it was a bit hard for the kids to get into it
but it was a fun day
and most importantly
I get money
doing it again tomorrow...I think I might try and organise more demo stuff with some of the other stalls
that was directly from a post on ausfootbag
my legs are quite tired from a big day today
gonna get very drunk tonight
have some assignment failure sorrows to drown

well I haven't updated this in like 2 months....and it's almost holiday time again
haven't kicked heaps lately...went to Brisbane to see Alexisonfire and Parkway Drive and Amity Affliction, and it was incredibly awesome
the day after I had a kick with Gareth and I was actually playing quite well, hit pretty much everything I can hit, which was nice. I'm starting to get a lot of four adds appearing in my tricks which is nice, but still only getting 2 tripless
was hitting stuff like
dimwalk>torque> almost to ducking osis
diving osis>ducking osis
pixie osis> ducking osis
hit some really long tiltless runs which was also good
recently another guy from Canberra has started posting on ausfootbag...we are going to kick today at uni.....he's only just starting and it's really windy so there won't be much extreme manouvres or anything
I think if I get some money for my birthday (next friday) it'll go towards one of Jeremy's bags...maybe, maybe
...for the next two months

So I am back at home in Bega...and had a session yesterday and today, and was really shitty with my current form which is not good
I'm dropping a lot of things I know I can hit, which annoys me a lot. Although I did hit one pretty rad run
dimwalk>pdx mirage> op butterfly> pdx mirage > parkwalk > diving clipper> ducking clipper> ducking clipper > dlo (drop)
so that was cool....but the rest of the time, there were a lot of dropped toe stalls and clippers....not cool. I'm working on my paradon a lot at the moment, trying to do things like pixie switch or terrage into it
my flip pixie set is getting better, and I'm working a bit more stepping stuff into my sets
so these demos that are coming up that Ken is coming out for, they'll be so awesome (hopefully I'm kicking reasonably well again by then)..but it's still going to be awesome, from reading Ken's blogs, he's the kind of person I'd really like to meet and, you never know, I might even play better from it
In other news, it was my 21st the other week....and I had a rad pirates and ninjas party at my house. The most fun I've had in a long time. And now I have a girlfriend. Things are going pretty well for me

time for a new blog methinks
latley my game has been improving a lot
like it's more I'm concentrating on getting things both sided, and getting all the basics down, and everything comes together
so anyway, tonight I was kicking and it was getting really dark, but I was still hitting sweet runs....that had dlo, osis, ducking stuff, pdx mirage, etc and I could barely see the thing, so I was quite pleased with myself in that regard
looks like I'll be doing a demo in Sydney this weekend, with Jeremy, should be pretty good if I hit anything like the runs that I was hitting today, it'll be great
I was doing like 30 contact runs, then drop, pick it up, do about a 20 contact run, then do some sweet tricks
new moves
flip torque
and I footed barfly
just mainly worked on links...I'm liking parkwalk> pardox mirage> toe osis
it's fun
apart from that there's been some intense goon drinking this weekend...it was great
next week is going to be crazy
Wednesday- Bodyjar
Thursday- Parkway Drive + Irrelevant in Wollongong
Friday- PWD + Stab in the Dark in Canberra
Saturday- Butterly Effect in Sydney
Sunday- Footbag demo, ashfield
HECK!

so I'm back in Canbera, well I got back last night
and it has been SUCH a crazy weekend
Parkway shows were off the hook. Crazy pits and shit.
pink jacket at a hardcore show.
HOT!
shred on Sunday
played really well. Jeremy said he was really impressed with my game
excuse me sir did your head just explode
I hit some really long runs, like 50 contacts. Was concentrating on just long solid runs to impress people. It was cool. Overall it was a good day
but the activities of the weekend
my legs hurt so much
I think I'm going to go to QLD in November for more Parkway action + I could shred some.
sounds good

so back to Sydney this weekend coming
I get to meet Ken

I'm looking forward to this weekend, it's pretty much going to be jsut one big drunken blur
with footbag + a-league (soccer) + a couple of shows + possbily karaoke + any other shenanigans that happen + who knows, could meet THE HOFF!
kicked today...hit a few nice runs, that I don't recall what they had in them
but some of them would have been heading in the 8-10 guiltless range
I've been doing a lot of ducking and diving stuff. It's fun
Uni is nearly over for the year
that's incredibly awesome

things that are good
money
a-league
footbag
Sydney trips
I've got this amazing idea, why don't you do a footbag demo at an a-league game, in Sydney, and get paid bazillions of dollars for it

leave for Sydney tonight. I can't wait for the journey. Although it just started raining. No good. I hate rain.

lately every day
I've been generally having two half hour or so sessions
it's very spur of the moment
but not today, because it's raining
and I have to present a major thing for uni, so I don't want to rock up all sweaty

weekend action
did what rad dudes do and drank some beer in a park

whilst beer was drunk also had a bit of a kick, I was playing fairly well considering I had a beer in my hand and was wearing pants
then went to see Sydney FC vs NZ Knights in the a-league

this is my friend Josh, in "the cove" which is where the hardcore Sydney supporters go. He goes for QLD roar.
then we went out and got WASTED. It was awesome fun
got home at 5, was up at 9
and we headed to the Nestle demo
Ken and Jeremy were doing the demo so me, Guido, Dyalan and Phil had a shred
Guido pretty much owned the session....30 infinities....smoke for the first time
Ken came over for a while and Guido's like...I jsut hit pixie drifter for the first time
then he jsut busts it out again
Ken "first go WHAAAAAAAAAATTTT"
so that was pretty rad
myself...I played pretty badly. The lack of sleep was really showing, and we were palying on a downhill slope. I kept dropping moves I was expecting to hit and that made a sad Dan
as has been said. The karaoke section....urggggghhhhh QUACK QUACK QUACK
so we watched Ken and Jeremy do their routine for the hoff demo and it was quite impressive. After the demo was over, it was deemed that the time was beer o'clock, and we were off to the North Sydney hotel. Amazingly I had never been to this pub before, though a couple of years ago I used to work right across the road from it. I didn't really drink much back then though. How things have changed
So there were a couple of plates of food left on a table, and Ken was like we should go and take them (I usually have ideas like this) but we were a bit suss, maybe the owners had gone to the toilet, but in our deliberating, the waiters came and took them away. Dang it.
After a beer it was four square time. Josh won at four square, in his first game ever. I think we will be making it the new craze amongst my friends at uni. I on the other hand, got one point.
After four square shredded with Ken and Jeremy. Boy did that make me feel like an amateur. I really had nothing. I hit a few cool runs, but then I would give the bag to Jeremy or Ken (usually the wrong one) and then I would be like....well maybe that run wasn't so cool
and also, kept dropping things I was expecting to hit. One rad link I think I hit once...datw>phoenix...but I still had fun. I must say Josh was quite impressed
he was on the phone to someone I think it was one of other friends Dan (we have quite a few friends called Dan) and he's like "yeah I'm jsut watching this dude...he's like one of the best in the world...and this other guy...he's pretty much the best in Australia..........and Dan. he's not too bad either.
But the desperate need for water meant it was time to call it a day, so Ken and Jeremy headed back to Guido's, and Josh and I headed to the bottlo, then into the city, then to see Karnivool and Switchkicker at Caringbah bizzos, which is way far away.
It was a really fun night...I knew pretty much every one at the show...and even hooked up (go Dan
)
next day we were back to Canberra.....waiting for the bus at Central we had a game of four square, but only with 3 people....which Josh succeeded in winning making him....pretty good at four square
so we caught the bus home and went straight to a party, which was pretty sweet....we actually played some footbag in the middle of the longue room
Josh messaged me and said he hit around the world in barefeet.. he said that this weekend has really got him wanting to play footbag
he doesn't want to be really good or anything, just wants some skills
girls only want boyfriends that have skills
and that was my weekend
it was awesomely rad

this is my friend Josh, in "the cove" which is where the hardcore Sydney supporters go.
It was a really fun night...I knew pretty much every one at the show...and even hooked up (go Dan
next day we were back to Canberra.....waiting for the bus at Central we had a game of four square, but only with 3 people....which Josh succeeded in winning making him....pretty good at four square
so we caught the bus home and went straight to a party, which was pretty sweet....we actually played some footbag in the middle of the longue room
Josh messaged me and said he hit around the world in barefeet.. he said that this weekend has really got him wanting to play footbag
he doesn't want to be really good or anything, just wants some skills
girls only want boyfriends that have skills
and that was my weekend
it was awesomely rad

I'm probably going to go down for new years, then come back up to the berra, then go back down again for the titles
I'll see how it all goes
but I will be there
