Hey my harry potter peeps
i cant figure out how to make a pole.
So whatever just post it.
Whats your favorite harry potter book
For me its hands down The goblet of fire (i may change it soon after finishing the half blood price?)
For me the goblet was just non stop action always guessing and a great fantasticly horrific ending that has the ultimate empire strikes back end feeling to it. i have never had so much fun reading a book than i did reading goblet of fire

I always seem the love the latest ones, I guess. Because I can always relate the most recent one most, because they're at about my same age.
And I LOVE getting caught in their little recent love affairs and all that shit. Plus, Hermione gets older in each book.
And you know what that means.
Plus there's always cooler shit, and really just more grown up people... and stuff. The old ones are just like stupid little kids now.
I wish they would just go on forever! Coming back to the real world is so so so depressing after you've been immersed in Harry Potter for like 12 hours straight.

I'm not sure. I've only ready the first four. Actually someone I asked said that you don't really need to read them in order so I bought the first three (the only ones out at the time) and read them starting with three, then two, then one. It was a mistake, I had to fill in the story myself and it got clearer as I read each previous book. NOTE: Read them in order.
By the way its called Harry Potter and the Sorerrer's Stone here in USA. Philospher's Stone is UK.

Well considering the writer is from the UK and it's called the Philospher's Stone in every English speaking country in the world apart from the US as far as I know, it seems to make sense to go with the original title and not the American one. I heard the name was changed because the publishers didn't think American children would know what a philospher is? Is that true?jedidove wrote: By the way its called Harry Potter and the Sorerrer's Stone here in USA. Philospher's Stone is UK.

Oh yeah I know I was just pointing it out. I wish they would have kept the original title. Makes me feel like the american one is some cheap remake. Not sure about that rumor of why they changed the name though. After some thought I think the fourth may be my favorite.Jeremy wrote:Well considering the writer is from the UK and it's called the Philospher's Stone in every English speaking country in the world apart from the US as far as I know, it seems to make sense to go with the original title and not the American one. Thank goodness SOMEONE can spell douche correctly on this site. I keep seeing deuch, and dooche, and deuche. Anyways, I think I'll go have some cake. Care to pass the sprinkles Jeremy?Stephen Barnes wrote:Shut the fuck up, you douche bag. Delete that fucking post now.
Edit: That sounded harsh. Please don't spoil the book. If it was yesterday I would be really, really, really mad at you.
