it changes as time goes on. Right now I'm going crazy over Zone of the Enders: The second runner, and UT...

other faves are Gran Turismo, The Megaman X series, Gradius series, and DDR

Since I find comparing between genres very hard I'll have to go with a choice from each...

RPG: Chrono Trigger or Fire Emblem for GBA (haven't even beaten this one yet but it's so awsome, when my charector dies I actually feel bad about it and usually end up restarting the battle since dead charectors stay dead)

Fun: Wario Ware or Wario Ware twisted

Action: Viewtiful Joe

Fighting: Capcom vs. SNK 2

That's probably about it although I really do enjoy DDR as well and any mario game is awsome.

Mine is probably the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series. Then again, I'm a Star Wars nerd, so bah. I've been spending a lot of time playing GTA Vice City lately.

What?!?!?!! No Battlefield 2 fans?

Battlefield 2 is AWESOME!

That is such a hard game, yet so addicting. And for a NES the graphics are awesome. I would play that game for hours, but then quit because I got too frustrated. It was probably the most frustrating game ever, but I loved it.

Fusion Frenzy: twisted system

aka

The jump and duck game.

Not only is Fusion a cool footbag game but this game rocks too. It's all about focus and flow and energy, but also a great critique of society and the true nature of capitalism and the class struggle. Truely a work of genius.

Final Fantasy 7 would probably be a close second.

These days the only games I play are the occasional CS:S and EA Cricket 2005. I guess whenever my brother gets a new game (like once or twice a month) I play it a bit too.

Overall I basically never play video games though - apart from the odd all guys nerd night once or twice a year with old friends.

Final Fantasy 7 is the greatest game I've ever played... amazing storyline, awesome characters, and killer cinematics. I must have played through it at least 5 or 6 times.

Right now I'm hopelessly addicted to Unreal Tournament (GOTY edition). I play deathmatch all the time... 'simon' is feared by many on one particular server

Yup, final fantasy 7 must be the best game of all time. Next to it being FF8.

I didn't know so many people here play consoles. My favourite game in the moment is harvest moon series. I don't have a particular harvest moon favourite, the whole serie is good. But my favourite game changes very fast. Another good game is Pirates! Gold.

I have a few right now

Burnout 3
Final Fantasy (any, i've only played 10 and 10-2, I want 12!!!)
Hot Shots Golf 3
NFSU2
GT4
Kingdom Hearts (I want 2!!)

For older systems though:

Sonic series
Mario
Marble Madness was cool but hard
FZERO for the snes for sure :) I almost beat that on master level but kept losing on the fire level, barely, OVER AND OVER AGAIN. O well.

Pirates! Gold is such an awesome game!!! You can just sail around the caribbean looting and plundering and doing whatever you want. I had it when I was a little kid and I just recently emulated it on my computer.

Does anyone else use roms? You can download and play any NES, SNES, or SEGA games free 8)
