Bad session, I knew I was too tired to play well. The time I quit is when I couldn't hit any more toe stalls. :( Footbag is saddening. I thought that I would make this post so I can look back and tell myself I got over it when I have another bad session.

I'm going to be wicked close if not tiltless in a month.

I bought a vrey nice multicolord sandmaster today. Its heavy. I love the feel and color, I wanted to buy two they were so good.

Fricken A, I have homework and gotta study for a quiz/test for monday. Tomorrow I got church and work, so the whole day is taken up.

DRILL DRILL DRILL!

dude, remember footbag should be fun too. Drilling and trying new tricks is important, but it i think having fun is the main goal. keep trying new tricks though man, i like your blog, i can relate to it. But dont get down if you don't feel like kicking, play some video games or something...
and that would be cool if you make it to chilly philly

Yeah Ben, sucky sessions can be discouraging, but you gotta keep playing! Whenever you feel tired or just frustrated practice something else. Keep the session fresh! And when you're extremely tired practice something fun like toe kicks or knee bumps into toe stalls, etc. Keep kickin'!

Playing "Effortless" is always fun too in a sesh! It helps when you have a bad day

Whats effortless?

Fricken A, another cr-ppy session. Toes even sucked again, couldn't do anything. I need to watch the nokia city event video again for some inspiration.

Here is my spanish class rant:

I'm in spanish 4 lvl 2, and lets say I'm not all that great with spanish. I'm one of the suckiest people in the class, but I managed to get to pass all my other spanish classes with "C's". My new teacher only talks to us in spanish, unless its something really important, and she expects to do the same, which none of my other teachers really did. Now, talking in spanish and stuff in class counts at 20% of your grade, and I'm not going to get 100's on test and stuff, so it may be hard for me to do well in the class.

I would like to have 4 years of spanish, and it looks better for college and such, but I would like a good GPA without having spanish drag it down. My friend Ashley says she will help me and the stuff that I just need to know is vocab, which is kinda easy, but obviously I haven't done well with it in the previous 3 years. I have one more week untill I can drop the class I believe, then I have to keep it until the next semester. I think I'm still gonna try to stick it out. Footbag has taught me to drill.

Everything seems to be despressing.

)Yeah dude, languages can be tough for other people. Spanish is comes pretty easy to me (and I went to Spain before), but sorry to hear that man. Use shred to let out your frustration (if you're feeling any :P ).

but yeah, life is a rollercoaster ya know? It has it's ups and downs and ocassional corkscrews where you're likw "wtf?!" 8O

Hmmm, sorry about all the rants, I feel better today.

Playing at school gets you all sweaty. It sucked to have a class after. I went to the bathroom and we air dry, so no paper towels. Instead I used toliet paper, hey, what ever works, and tried to dry myself which helped a lil. And then I was drinking from the bubbler every 2 seconds trying to get my body temperature down, lol. It was embarassing.

Good session today, I always feel them coming. It was SOOO graceful, almost slowmow, felt so good. I did toe stalls down my 8 front steps today and then some more.

My atws are better.

Thanks for the replies guys, they are aprechiated!

Another good session, I think its the time of day I play. My 2 add tricks for a good string are now around 6-9 tricks, which is getting better from 4 tricks per string. I'm trying to incorperate clippers in my strings more.
I also have a new training method. One string will be just out dexes, another would just be in dexes, and of course I'll do both.

New toe stall record: 94 alternating toe stalls
Props today: :) :) (2 props)

I'm slowly going tiltless.

Props :D :D :D :D to the 1000000000th power

Good to hear you're skoolin' and drillin'! Keep it up!
94 toe stalls...good stuff. Always make sure you get things dialed and don't be in a hurry to get bigger add tricks. Add Hunters are bastards :P

Ok, I have a few confessions to make! So I can work on them.

I am..... addicted to footbag.

Acuatlly, that's just not it, here we go:
My kicking sucks, my toe stalls are twice as good. My flipside toe kick is non existent. My outside kicks are also sucky. My alternating inside stall record is like 6 and I never do outside. My flipside kicking in gerneral sucks. I jumped right into freestyle. I don't even know if half my dexes are clean. I think I arch my back way too much when I shred, being over the bag too much. I don't stretch. I hope I improve a lot if I am going to chilly philly. My strings consist of the same basic moves over and over. I have bad habbits. I don't drill enough. I can barely do mirages. I need to go back and drill the basics.

On a good note, I can basically hit everything both sides. My ins and clippers are getting better, and my strings are getting longer. I can hit butterfly bsos.

Nothing more to say.

Oh yeah, I footed bubba a bunch, not sure if your supposed to land or stall first.

Been playing almost everyday. My back has been hurting for some reason, maybe I pulled something.

Clippers are getting easier
Inside>same clipper>rpt is fun

I'm starting to go slower, and its been helping a lot. I washed my footbag yesterday (mr. sandman), I can see the white again. Is SOOO soft and fuzzy, it's like renewing a friendship. It plays even better now.

I've been trying clipper tricks, like clipper ss mirage and cliper ss butterfly but I keep footing them. Are you supposed to land with your support leg first? I can't seem to get enough time to do that.

I made a bad footbag video, I suck infront of camera, but it was fun to make. http://www.freewebs.com/banderscreation ... %20Vid.wmv (5 meg). I made it all in one night. Maybe I'll get a real camera one day instead of my webcam.

And I FINALLY finished my footbag graphic after a few weeks for my tshirts. I think I maxed out on making it better. Its so leet! I might start getting them made tomorrow.

thats a pretty cool video dude.. i hope you do come to chilly philly man, we are definitely of equal skill level, although i envy your mastery of the clipper!

yo, you are right about playing slower, it does make things seem easier and smoother.. do you kick with music?

Thanks Buddy, no I don't play to music, except when the neighbors car stario is on like today. I normally play outside.

I just discovered that when your doing toe stalls that if you lift your knees instead of your leg, tricks are a lot easier. Like when your doing 'high knees', but no as high. The bag acuatlly goes straight up as apposed to an angle. This took me like 3 months to figure out, lol. My atws are A LOT cleaner now because it gives me less room to screw them up.

My lower right back has been hurting a lot recently. Jon from Vegas says its probably from landing on my heels, I gotta fix that. So in the meantime there hasn't been a lot of shred lately.

Frick, my back has been hurting. Even small movements hurt. It seems like no footbag maybe for a week or more.

Acuatlly, maybe not. I probably can still old school kick and practice my stalls which is what I'm really lacking in.

Ah, so my back has been getting better...until I watched 'lost video' and had to shred after. It really wasn't my fault. So my back started hurting again, I really tried to land just on my toes this time too. My right knee is messed, maybe theres a relation between that and my back because its on the same side. I have a suspicion my right leg is a tiny bit shorter than me left.

Well, my clippers sucked, and atws, and pickups, which is like everything I did. I almost hit ducking clipper on the first try, that was fun!

Well, I did my sick 3:

Gosh, today was excellent. Oh yeah, I'm shredding now and then even though my back still hurts. My form is getting better. Just when I thought my atws couldn't get any better, they do get better. I'm so close to titless. I am finally getting mirage. I figured out it was more of a 'step over the bag' movement rathat than a jumping movement. Mirages seem really easy and wicked fun, I just need to school them.

Dang, back is still messed. Someone from my work has like the same problem, except he dosn't shred or anything, weird. He said it was from scrolyosis (I can't spell it). Because my back still hurts and I still want to shred, I'm just gonna practice and drill stuff that dosn't hurt. Maybe work on stalls and kicks.

Oh yeah, Henry's Blog is amazing, I just viewed it for the first time today and started reading it from page 1. I got up to page 3, lol. I'll work on it another night.... and he probably dosn't read my blog, lol, but mabe.

STILL WAITING FOR MY FOOTBAG SHIRTS! Any day now. I'll call him tomorrow afternoon.

One day I'm gonna wear my lavers to school and show everyone what footbag is.

SATs sucked when I took them on Saturday, don't think I did well, I didn't even have enough time for it.

Hope my back is better before chilly-philly.
