Hand Shredding

Post by shredzilla » 05 Jan 2006 08:08

I remember way way way back when I was in middle school...*pulls out smoker's pipe and rocks in chair...skaters used to have these finger boards that they made out of cardboard and they'd use them to experience skating with their fingers. Eventually they became a product called 'finger board' that exists today.

I've been kinda shredding with my hands at work, at my desk. I use the back side of my hand for toe stalls, and palm for inside (palm behind other hand for clipper). It's pretty easy to do stuff like legovers and ATWs and stuff. Haha someone the other day told me they got like a 5ATW! It gets a little harder trying to do stuff like whirl. What's funny is a lot of times the butterfly type moves are easier than just going to clipper, because you're moving your hand over instead of under.

Eh, it's just for fun, and it's just another obvious revelation that I never stop thinking about this sport. Basically something you can do at school or work. Although hopefully your teacher doesn't see you and take your bag away. That would suck. Haha if anyone wants to post their hand shred strings or sick tricks here feel free!

I just did one that was butterfly>whirl>drifter>drifter Sick Trick: Whirr

oh man... one of the first freestylers I ever met was a myachi salesman... Sebastien Peron was his name, I think, or Sebastien Verdi, or something... at a phish festival... he showed me the right way to do torque.

I just like to hand shred with footbags. triple around the world is easy. eggbeater tricks are fun...

Hahha weird. Myachi eh? I think I have seen those things. Man, what's up with the motor homes on that site? Wow, I guess someone's thought of everything. That's kinda like lighter hack, we used to play that when we were sitting around getting...nvmnd.

I'd still rather play with my footbag than one of those things. They don't look like they set very well.

By pure coincidence me and Alex Urano used to do the exact same thing. Just like you toes were the back of the hand and clippers were the palm just crossed under the other arm. hahaha

Johnny Murphy made a piss take club site on one of the crappy free website places (geoshitty or something similar), that was pretty funny, we called it handbag cos that made it even funnier - dude the'd the crap outta so many moves I had to tell him to stick to the footbag thing instead

I saw that myachi site a while back and thought it was funny that what they called cold fusion was just an eggbeater, if only they knew what the real cold fusion looked like (which is odd cos they knew about basic stuff like mirage and illusion)

I was just trying cold fusion hand style now, I need to school my hand-adors first :?

Mike Anello did some hand-bag strings before repeating them with his legs in one of his older basement videos, and Johnny Suderman does some hand-smashers before reeling off atomsmashers in one of the GLASS videos.

I like atomic doubleswitch myself, miragey dexes tend to not be as deep and there tends to be more fetishing happening as opposed to hitting the moves.
