TOFUSHRED2 - Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, July 1st, 2006
Hello Modified
THE OTTAWA FOOTBAGGERS UNITED once again would like to extend it's most warmest, enthusiastic, and heart-felt invitation to everyone on modified and beyond for the second annual TOFUSHRED happening on CANADA DAY, Saturday July 1st, 2006 in the NATIONS CAPITAL!
This year we want to do bigger and better, more shred, more shredders, more partying and more props. Same place as TOFUSHRED1, the war memorial in confederation square smack dab in the middle of downtown OTTAWA on the corner of Elgin and Rideau st. There's lots of open space, and loads of crowds all day! We will be surrounded by street performers of all different kinds so we will have lots of crowds to entertain.
What better way to celebrate the birth of CANADA than to spend it shredding up the CAPITAL with loads of CANADIANS oogling you and throwing you their support? Excess shred and partying gauranteed!
Once again, fireworks will colour the sky come dusk and all the regular beer suppliers will be in full force all day.
We're still looking into a possible host hotel, check back to this post for further information on that.
We are also looking into renting the same gym we rented last year, again, check back here for updated info.
If you are interested in visiting OTTAWA for CANADA DAY weekend, reply here! We'd like to see an even bigger turnout than last year.

TOFUSHRED1 memory:
Myself, Daniel Wax and Matt Cross in a circle.
I have no Lavers and can't hit a toe stall despite my refusal to sit down until I do. I hit two alternating toe stalls and decide I am going to start playing footbag. THE END
Come all to TOFUSHRED2 to witness my inconsistent yet titillating tiltless tricks. Bring your newbie friends too
As for the drinking when you're 19, not to worry my friend, you can walk across the bridge to Quebec where you need only be 18 to purchase alcohol

I guess I'll be going kinda past Kingston, right? Maybe I could drive some King-stoners to Ottawa. Although I might leave a certain King-stoner outside of a random gas station and drive away for a few minutes.
EDIT: Yeah this means I SHOULD be in attendance.

Ryan, sounds awesome! Last year was a lot of fun, even though I could only come for one day. There are no weddings this year so I should be good to go! Hopefully Johnny comes again too; maybe we'll take the bus like last time, it was hella fun.
It's a shame you can't come, Kevin. Everyone else should though! Last year there was a wicked party house, drunken Laroche eating napkins smothered in bbq sauce, beautiful fireworks over the river, late-night hack under street lamps and with my glow bag, and a mission with a shopping cart full of knapsacks. Good good times, Canada rules.
I'll post some pictures later to entice people to come!
