$160 RT from the town looks doable.

$200 RT from SanDiego. Richie ? Jason ?

I should be there.

There have been a few incarnations of the US Open. Chicago had a few here and there, for freestyle only. In Portland, the US Open for net has been running for a little while. Now we are just combining the two. This country needs an annual event that is something equivelent to Euros. Thus, whoever wins the US Open for net or freestyle is in fact the US Champion for that year, as Vasek would be the European Champion. The IFPA has been talking about this for while. It's a good step to make it consistant again in this country. I love freestyle jams, but we need more large organized tournaments in this country again, they are getting few and far between.

ps props to Montana for stepping it up as well

There will be a host hotel and a recommended hostel, as well as plenty of crash space for the event. Portland in the summer is great, and everything is pretty close together. I am looking forward to taking shredders who have not been to the Water Temple, a classic footbag shred spot.

okeedokee. Is there going to be room in the area for people with homemade barley preserves in collectible glass containers and cash to crash, with or without tents and hammocks.
