Seath: "I'm there for sure and there's a good chance I'm bringing the wife and kid!"

So now im referred to as the wife? Or am I the kid? Either way Adrienne will be pissed you excluded her or J. You should just bring the 3 of us with you!

If Bevier feels like driving, maybe I'll come. It's probably something stupid like 10 hours though.

Oh boy, I know I'm gonna catch some heat for this one...

My only 'opinion' is for the name of the tournament. I feel KICKASS, even though it stands for Kingston yada yada, isn't a great name because it represents a poor image for footbag. GRASS is close, but it's not in your face like KICKASS is.

I believe Mosher's on the same page as me when it comes to trying to promote the sport and attract sponsors, and I just think spectators and sponsors alike tend to shy away from an event with a name like this for the following reasons:

1. It's not a professional-sounding name
2. It's vulgar slang
3. It's not a 'family-friendly' name, meaning parents with 11-15 year old kids probably wouldn't send their kid to an event with this name unless they were Andrew Ivanyo's mom (no offense Andrew)

Take it for what you will, it really won't make much difference this time around. But in the following years if/when footbag gets any bigger, I'd change the name to something a little more kosher.

Some sponsors like edgy, but I don't think I've ever even heard of an event with a name like this unless it had something to do with like metal or something. Sponsors don't like supporting something that may give their company a bad image, and fans enjoy 'sporty/cool', not 'crass'.

Meh. I don't think we have to worry about censoring ourselves. KICKASS is a great name and I don't think that this type of thing will ever hinder footbag.

I'll be there for sure.

KICKASS is a great name. Just think about it: if people who love tofu only went to TOFUSHRED for just that lovely soy product, then why put in something as awesome as footbag?

And you have to agree, when Will Digges comes in for the commentary, he knows his stuff.

Eh, I guess you guys are right. What was I thinking? Lol.

The last one sounded like a lot of fun. I'm sure this one will kick even more ass than last time. Beware of the Digges Bros and their Taco Bell obsession! Hahaha.

I agree, I need dates!

I really want to go and I have a car, as does Skippy, I think, and if one or both of us drive, I'm sure a large part of FAT will be present and accounted for.

That said, tell me when!

From the sounds of things I'll be able to make it.. unless it's the weekend of september 9th-10th. I get my wisdom teeth out on the 7th, so I'll be in no condition to do anything for a few days, especially not footbag. I wouldn't know, but I have a feeling being heavily medicated wouldn't help my game.

I'll have money for bags, most likely. I won't be competing, I'm nowhere near that skill level. I'm really looking forward to my first event, though.

We have decided that making it any time in september doesn't give us enough time to make this as big and pro as we want.

So, the date will likely be early October, perhaps even Oct. 6 - 8.

I would really like the weather to be nice enough for us to shred outside, that was part of my motivation to have it in Sept., but the weather is often still nice in early Oct.

We have accomodation sorted out, $20/night including breakfast!

I am lining up some really good DJ's too.

Oh yeah and here are the comps that will be run:

- Shred 30
- Sick 3/1
- CIRCLE COMPETITION
- maaaaaybe routines

I like routines but they take for fucking ever and they require a really knowledgable staff. Not to say that there won't be people coming that know enough... it's just alot of extra work for an event people only kinda like anyways.

The finals of circle and the sick comps will be held on Saturday night on stage at the venue.

I will have lots of real solid details soon, things are coming together well since Pengpeng is helping this year. :D

With the new date I might be able to make it now but probably won't practice before it.

omfg... it is possible (somehow) that this year's KICKASS is going to own last years! It's sounds so fucking great, Mosher+Peng...

(I'm working on my sick 3 already :P)
