I almost tore my pinky off many times in my shorts pocket as I'm swinging my arm for momentum. But it's a pinky who cares.

yeah, those loose eyelets are murder. at one point when i had one my inner calf on the other leg was a mess of cuts and scratches.

i've hit my head on a low ceiling playing before. and of course all the usual ways.

I don't know what I was trying, but I set with my right toe, and as I went to raise my left foot, I stood on it with my right foot. So instead of my left foot coming up when I bent my knee, my body went straight down and then I collapsed, right in front of my bro. didn't injure myself but it hurt a little, and damn if it wasn't funny.

A while back I was showing a mirage to someone inside and I messed up the set but I didnt bail on it and ended up kicking a table. I tried to do a downtime illusion mid string when I had never hit one before. My leg got tangled in my other one and landed straight on the outside of my foot.

LOL.

One time I was drilling Spinning clippers... While spinning, I lost my balance, and fell on my ass, next to an 'armoir' (big cabinet thing). Well, the door opened when I fell, and when I stood up, I hit my head hard on the door! (I was up within a split second of falling) I sure was suprised!

I've also landed sideways on both my ankles, on 2 seperate occasions, whilst learning blur. Both times, when my ankle rolled, they acted like springs, and bounced me quite a distance! Luckily, no injuries. (good ol' strong, flexible ankles 8) )

oh man, i just remembered the worst. i was doing some real high flying clipper kicks and i managed to land on another guys foot (yeah, ok, i was trying to intimidate him by doing them all up in his face) and you know how it is when you land on someone else's shoe most of the time...you very quickly roll your ankle straight down to the ground. its like the worst way to roll your ankle ever. i couldnt kick for almost a month.

Let's just say don't ever play footbag near a ceiling fan...I think you get the idea.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

lol pete. so pwned

Slapping yourself in the groin/leg doing illusion/paradon is an extremely common way to hurt yourself in footbag. In fact I think it even has a name, 'fetishes' (the marks you leave on your leg from kicking/slapping yourself).

Ben: What's wrong with playing near Somolinos? ;) (But in all seriousness... that sounds painful)

yeah, i know. the worst part is whenever this happens, as you (in the general pluralized sense) may or may not know, the person you land on is completely unaffected while (worst case scenario) you are laying on the ground, crippled. this guy just stood there laughing, completely unhurt (and not even sure why i was)

then there's the usual getting kicked by OTHER people. like in the adam's apple. but thats actually fairly common in footbag (well, more in hacky sack...)

Ha Ha Ha thouse are some good ones ouch id hate to get clipped by a ceeling fan. that reminds me of the thime when i was starting out playing footbag bag and was justkicking with a few friends under the infulence of alcohol and i went for a back of the neck stall...... well my ctch was way to low so i had my face pretty close to the ground. one of my friends go to kick it closly fallowed by the other but insted of hitting the footbag they both kicked my in the nose. one guy hitt me directly on the nose and as he lowered his foot the other guy kicked his foot causing me to get hithard twice. it was pretty grose with alot of blood but i couldent stop laffing... good times :?
