And by sleeping, I actually mean sleeping!

What gets you the best night's sleep?!

I vote for spooning. It's the best for keeping warm, comfyness, and getting close.

Sometimes it makes my shoulders sore though?

lol, I was just thinking about it last night when I couldn't sleep

If most people sleep better snuggled up to one another or separately.

It depends on the two people. Do whatever works for you.

I thought this was a fairly dumb topic but I had an interesting anecdote to add: I sleep facing away from my gf because I very often have footbag dreams and frequently kick HARD in my sleep. I've actually woken myself up from kicking things hard (wall, bedpost, etc.)

Wheres the, "I kick the other person outta the bed" option? I don't really do that but any close touching makes it nearly impossible for me to sleep well.

I like sleeping on my back and resting their head on my shoulders.

my body gets too hot for sleep when I've got another body right against mine. That, and I can't really get in a comfortable sleeping position with someone else. I prefer just a little space while I'm trying to get my Z's. I'll take the intimacy before and after the sleep, though ;)

I spoon with my pillow. She doesn't put out any body heat, so I don't have to worry about getting too hot :D .

I generate more heat than a power plant. It's normally impossible to sleep through a night next to anyone nor would the other person be comfortable. I don't imagine I am the only person like this. I voted back to back.

Yup, it's great in the winter but totally unbearable any other time. At least that's what I remember of it

I get the most sleep on the subway to school and back usually, so it's a choice of: standing up, standing next to a door, or sitting down with bookbag full of...books to serve as a pillow.

Surprisingly, using the bookbag as a pillow works best, though leaning against a door is another good choice. The only problem with the latter is if the door opens, in which case a quick reaction-waking time is necessary.

If I'm sleeping at home, which is under 2 hours a day, that's best done lying on my back with a cat clawing my chest.

I have to agree with many people here, it's hard for myself to find a comfortable position while sleeping with someone if we're too close, sometimes it will works but I'll prolly woke up later because I'm too warm. I usually do like Matt and take a little space when I want to sleep.

I get warm most of the time. I need my space unless I get completely wired and exhausted. If that becomes the case I would be sleeping like a rock, therefore any position would do. :?
