Yay, nice to heard about some shred in france. I hope you come here and we can shred together. We'd welcome you greatly in our circle :).

Today was my first outdoor session, it was AWESOME. Many new things, many very long strings.

Highlights of today ( and some of yesterday ) :

 30 + contacts strings with few guiltless
 few 20 contacts runs
 a string of like 12 contacts all guiltless I think ( maybe 1 or 2 tilt max)
 worked on flip fairy for the first time since injury, worked on the form and it's now good, first time for : fear, fairy legover, fairy butterfly
 fairy legover b2b
 almost atomsmasher b2b
 atomsmasher > legbreaker
 butterfly > pdx mirage > smear > butterfly > pdx mirage > smear > magellan > plo > magellan > plo ( drop )
 i was able to put many atomics midstringn and it surprised me how easy it felt today and I put some bs, it had never felt so easy before
 osis bsos, far osis bsos ( different strings )
 osis > far osis > far osis > far legover with flip osis
 Stampede is so close on bs, I'm doing a good atomic and the bag is still raising, I have some that goes to chest high, but I think I don't cushion enough after the symp atomic and it's why I have difficulty to go the symp mirage, I'll practice without the bag and more my symp mirage that are just decent not more, maybe thats the problem too
 25 alternating clippers ( new challenges that I've hit )
 24 contacts of infinity > ss clipper > rpt

Apart from what I've hit it was a bunch of fun, I played at a school near my home because it was very windy and in the park it was not playable so I got to the school and played on the side of a wall. LOTS of kids came to look at me and lots of passers too. Some stopped by and talked a bit with me to know how long I was playing. I've hit one of my best string as of today in front of a group of young teenagers that asked me to start back. The sun was shining, I had bunch of fun, I was sweating a bunch, out of breath with this feeling of satisfaction that you have when your relaxed after or during a physical activity. Great Day with great shred. I hope the shred will keep going so good because I'm having one of the best shred week I had since I started bagging.

Oh and just noticed your comments about flip paradon alan, yeah I know I should do it, but I cant datw on flip but I started working on it lately, and it's improving. I almost have the motion down but I always hit the bag when starting the second dex, feel weird on that side. I'll probably start to do dex like I've done with a bottle for my strong before getting in freestyle. I have to do some swirls type dex too. Should help me for swirl, rev swirl, dyno and blender.

Hi, i don't know when i'll get back to Montreal but probably beggining of june.

By the way, how are your steps. I didn't see any on your lists (i didn't see all of them). It's a great concept and very usefull.

I guess the other Mathieu introduced you spins and gyros concepts.

See you around Tam-tam or Place des arts.

Yeah I don't use enough steps but lately I've been working a lot on my downtime clipper game instead of steps. I can step bs okay but not consistently and it's hard to step out of something else than basic clipper or butterfly. But I will work on them soon for sure. And yeah Mathieu introduced me a little to spins and gyro but mine are very sucky for now. Basically Mathieu told me to work on ducking first which is still pretty bad but getting better. When it will be better I'll start working on spinning, I think it's a good idea to learn ducking first because they both require pretty good set so it will be useful. And if you come to montreal at the beginning of june try to be there for the 2-3 june we have the CC2 montreal event in that week-end.

Good session today, played a lot. I've played a bit outside but not much because it was a pretty bad weather. Worked on the control of my butterfly which should help a lot my clipper game.

Highlights :

 Spinning clipper bs, havent tried these in a month, flip was very bad
 whirl > pdx whirl footed, almost controlled ( starting from flip )
 whirl bsos more than once
 ducking clipper felt a bit easier
 4 magellan in a row on strong, 3 on flip, didn't try hard
 pixie ss clipper > stepping ss clipper, stepping ss clipper > stepping ss clipper
 ripwalk bs well controlled, havent worked in stepping for many sessions, almost bsos
 pixie ducking osis for the second time, ducking osis is giving me so much difficulty now, I just got it easily at first but now it feels hard, have to work lot more on osis and I'll get it fine, but pixie ducking has improved, I'll try to incorporate pixie ducking clipper in strings.

Today session was quite good, it was a very long one. The only things that was doing bad was my strong atomic who felt strange today. Worked on many stuffs again. I want to have more downtime component so I'll be able to bail into them when I have a bad control at the end of a trick and because it will open up so many possibilities of tricks.

 Drifter bs, better form, better control on them, noticed something lately, when people do they're drifter they do a mirage a little more leggy than the normal mirage, that helped a lot
 ducking clipper b2b, first time, felt pretty controlled
 flip pixie ducking clipper, first time too :)
 footed toe torque on flip mirage and flip drifter side, couldn't get close on the other side, funny
 footed flip DATW and flip paradon, I'm getting really close to them now, footed many time flip datw
 footed flip eggbeater few times
 flip DLO is improving slowly, getting better but definitely not there yet, my control on them is pretty bad
 fear bsos
 flip fairy is improving a bunch, still really hard midstring but I can start a string with it
 a string with 5 magellans of like 10 contacts, nothing impressive but 2 of those magellans we're on flip + one flip plo, happy of where my flip pixie is now, my strong magellan felt just as easy as a legover now, very controlled
 36 clipper on flip ( tried 4-5 times ) 22 on strong ( tried only once ), those freeze clipper are soooooo helpful! my leg was so sore when I finally dropped on my flip clipper

just think of torque as a mirage that lands into an osis. After you get that technique down go for the spinning(torquing) part. Just remember to set the bag straight up and you have to mirage around it.IDK if that helps but thats how I do my torques. Just try doing mirages that make you jump more to the other side of the bag.Man that confusing me.
Either do this or go to the trick tips section

Hey, thx for the tips, I think I could do it, but my osis still aren't great but I'm working a lot on them, when they'll be consistant enough then I'll start trying torque more. It was only few attempts for fun to see how close I could get, first time ever I was trying these.

Small session today, make it short because I didn't felt like bagging too much today, I want to shred with other peoples, had only a session with Ianek in the 3-4 last weeks and I'm bored playing alone. Here's the only highlights I can remember :

 Fear bsos, always starting from flip fairy but flip is getting better
 whirl bsos
 the longest tiltless run I had so far, prolly 40-45 contacts, (near + far) (pick-up, mirage, legover) all bsos, bubba bsos, one pdx illusion, most of these bsos from toe too

Good session today, longer than the last one but still not very long, something like an hour or maybe an hour and a half max. Not too much highlights but I still played good, I managed to hit a 40 contacts tiltless ( counted this time ), even put an osis. Worked on the control on my toes and clipper. I already see a difference when I play, more smooth, more controlled. Magellan * 5 on strong. And something very nice for me :

fairy pick-up > fear ---- but starting from strong fairy!!! so flip fear!! I just felt it when trying to hit fairy pick-up ( don't know if I had previously hit it ) and just tried it the time after, and than... HIT

edit : Oh, and I forgot to add the most important thing!! There's more and more chance I'll go to worlds, talked with my parents and nothing confirmed but I think they'll agree to give me flying tickets for my b-day so all I'm gonna need to afford is my expenses once there which shouldn't be too much. I'm probably going to bring 500 $ or so because I don't have to pay to get there so it won't be too hard. YAY!

nice fucking job on the tiltless!
40 is a big accomplishment.
Im just happy that someone is schooling there tiltless still instead of jumping to guiltless right after hitting 10 contacts of tilt.
Im proud :D

Thx Chris, yeah I'm still drilling tiltless! Every session and sometimes whole sessions deserved to tiltless like lately. I want to have a better downtime game so I'm drilling bunch of tiltless plus new downtime component such as osis, whirl and drifter. Trying to improve double dexes and to hit one on flip, getting very close. I want flip egg and dlo at the same level then on my strong too, want them more consistant too. Would like some dyno, blender, swirl and rev-swirl too.

I played a bit on yesterday and the day before, 2 small sessions because i didn't have more time before work. Like an hour each, maybe shorter. I been working on my clipper game a lot lately and it's getting more and more consistant and I finally feel like I have the control of the bag when on clippers. Butterfly are feeling lot better.

I'll probably stop posting after every session, I'll post here when I feel like probably like twice a week or a lil more. I'll start a shred journal soon so I won't need here to keep a record. I'm still going to post my thoughts but probably less highlights, anyway these are probably borring to read so.

Been few days without posting here, havent played for a few days. Had 2 sessions yesterday, went pretty well until I swolen my ankle  Not too bad but no shred for the rest of the week. That makes me kind of sad. Not too much notiçable things from yesterday but I footed dyno one side and very close on the other side after few advices from Ianek. Didn't try much so I was happy. Both fairy are beginning to be very easy. There have been a lot of improvement on that in the last few weeks. I can put strong no problem midstring and flip is consistant if starting a string with, I can put some midstring but it's not so consistant on that side.

Props on footing Dyno man! Your Osis' must be getting damn strong. A tip, if you aren't doing this already of course  , but set a little under waist height and wait for the bag to peak. Don't rush into it, when it peaks, pivot and execute the dexterity. Bending your support leg slightly will help you delay it more easily. Don't bend to much though. See how that works out for you. 8 ) Try your Flip too because Dyno back to back always has and always will looking disgusting! :P

Thx buddy, well osis isn't so strong yet but I'm drilling them every session and it's lot better. Being able to do harder osis' tricks should help them too. And that's the same advice Ianek told me to help my dynos, I was setting too high. And for bothsidedness, as usual I'm working them both sides, I usually try as much on both sides every session. In fact I don't even remember which foot I footed it, both seems pretty close to me.

Finally had a session today, felt no pain in my ankle, didn't try stuff I'm not confident with ( flip whirl, drifter and such ). Osis we're doing fine, pretty good on that side. It was a lot of fun, it was 15 celcius today outside! Windy but playable. There was so many people at the spot we we're shredding, 2 different peoples filmed me and Mathieu G. The two sexy young asian we're the nicest of the two group heh 8). There was at least 50 peoples sit there and like half of them was watching, it was fun. I played decent but nothing too impressive. I don't think I hit anything new. One noticable thing is I've put toe blur midstring which is pretty good. Legbreaker twice today, one very controlled and felt smooth.

And thx for your challenges, Isilwar, I'll definitely give it a go. My pdx mirage aren't so good and so are my osis so it's a nice challenge. Maverick is a trick I've never used, I know I've hit it but maybe once or twice on bs only. Osis is getting better as I said so it's a nice way to drill them, so is it for pdx mirage.

Great shred today, it was hot outside, very shiny again. Lots of people we're watching again. Played with Mathieu G and Kolo (Kolo joined us for the second half ). I played pretty well and I've hit hit few nice highlights :

 a 20 contacts or so string with all my sets in it except stepping, so atomic, pixie bs, quantum, fairy, droppped on dimwalk > blur
 quantum bsos ( one toe blur and one quantum legover )
 tap bsos, both midstring
 at least 3-4 30 contacts run
 cleared a symp quantum on both sides, footed one fs tripwalk, it was the first time I was ever trying them it was an accident, I saw Kolo do a bs blur and I though I'd try it, cleared a symp quantum first try by mistake
 osis are doing very well now, I'm confident to bail in them and to put them midstring now, pixie osis first try ( and only try ), was very controlled too
 a string with bsos osis and far osis
 few ducking clipper midstring, felt easy

Have to go work now, it's pissing me off so much. I don't feel like working after a fun shred like that in the sun.
