I've used it exclusively for the past 7 years or so. I started with Debian for about 2 years, used Gentoo for 5, and then have been using Ubuntu for the past number of months on my laptop.

I use linux at school because it loads faster than windows.

I'm not into computers so much.

I'm using Ubuntu. Settled on that distro (like the lingo I throw abouts?) based on Mike's and my friend Karl's urging.

I'm having problems networking with my Dad's Vista computer. That's what I was working on earlier.

I recently installed Fedora 7 on my macbook, over the useless Win XP partition. I like it because I'm a computer geek, and a computer science major, and I want to learn to make a computer my slave (aka do things that most OS's won't let me do).

I love it how people always blame windows for crashing.

Windows conditions people to think computers are these crazy mysterious things that crash, and act up from time to time.

MacOS X is stable for hundreds of days at a time, even on a laptop.
my 12" powerbook, 174 days

My linux box, up for 147 days.

My solaris box, 596 days,

Windows is a ToyOS, people that use their computer to play games love windows.

My Windows computer never plays up, because I'm not a noob.

I use other operating systems for reasons other than an inability to maintain a functioning computer. (Such as backtrack linux which is teh ownage)
