Yeah, he meant Shane something from New Zealand. His modified name was like Enlightenment or something like that. Liam Johnston doesn't do frantic.

I understand your frustration here. I know very well that they are two different countries and should not be confused with one another. I actually dated a girl who immigrated from New Zealand (which is when I learned that)

I would put this in a PM but I don't want anyone else reading this to think I'm culturally insensitive.

I honestly thought it was someone named Liam from Australia. It turns out it was someone named Shane from New Zealand. I should have done my homework, searched "spastic" and pulled up the original thread to verify.

Here it is:
http://www.modified.in/footbag/viewtopi ... tic#306021

It was indeed Shane aka enhancement from NZ who hit it. In fact reading into the shred further he hit the set into a mirage.

Yeah, um, in death proof they go on this long tirade about how offensive it is to confuse New Zealanders with Australians, and then when the girl is really apologetic the New Zealand chick is like; "It's ok, we're just taking the piss out of you mate."

Anyone ever hit stepping ss mirageing symp miraging osis? hahaha This might sound unrealistic, so I will take out a dex. It would then be, blurry symp torque, but all down time.

I've been constantly reciting this trick in my head. It's dreamy.

Kenny Shults first hit big apple sauce. There are some vids around. I don't know where. I think on sick 03 there is a vid too. He hit it like over 5 years ago now. Other people have hit it as well, but I'm not sure who.

Miraging symp torque has definitely also been hit. I seem to vaguely recall somebody hitting it blurry as well. Not sure what other combinations have been hit though.

symp barraging barfly has been hit by a bunch of people, and barraging superfly has been hit or slightly the'd (depending on your opinion) on video by Vasek.

the "real" name is frontside nemesis or backside nemesis. to my knowledge, symp barraging symp barfly has not been hit.

edit:

also, there's a thread in Shred Symposium called "Has (insert viable, difficult trick name here) been hit?"

that would be the appropriate place to post this question.

Apparently Vasek is trying Phasing Gyro Backside Nemesis, which would be just ridiculous.

I think he's hit Gyro Backside Nemesis.

I doubt "symposium" nemesis has been hit though, just frontside and backside.

EDIT: WOOHOOO! Same time as Matt!

ugggg... phasing gyro backside nemesis... I'll tell the story again,

Dave and I were watching him try this ridiculous trick at funtastik, and as you'd probably guess, he wasn't very close. Now, this is not to say he hasn't come close, just that I haven't seen it.

we speculated that one of the main reasons to try something like that would have to be to see if he could get some kid to post about it online.

I've seen it referred to at least 3 times.

as for gyro backside nemesis... write him an email, ask him if he's hit it. he's got a web site.

I just heard him talk about it at worlds, didn't know he had tried it. I wasn't saying like, Vasek is obviously gonna hit this, he's so awesome! It was more of a yeah, I'm pretty sure backside nemesis has been hit. Sidenote: Vasek is trying Phasing Gyro Backside Nemesis. Which is true! He's trying it!

Whatever. It's a clever ruse if he's just trying to get people to post about it. :P

I've hit juantomic butter, juantomic ss legover, and juantomic muted whirl.

I've also footed juantomic muted dod enough times where it should have been hit by now, but hasn't.

I'd bet lotsa people hit frontside nemesis... symp barraging isn't as hard as you'd imagine. backside would be way harder.

New Trick?

Post by Sora » 23 Nov 2007 11:31

Not sure, but I've never seen it before, or even heared it.

Its DATW swirl (like double over down swirl but in the oposite direction of ATW)

I'll try to make a video ;)

Sounds like a cool trick. In general, this sort of post should go into this thread:
http://modified.in/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=6708

as opposed to making a new thread for it. It's just cleaner and tidier.

I'd love to see video of this trick. Based on your mastery of TATW, I'm sure you could hit it.
