What do I put here? I am not good with computers.

I'll post some memories I had from before and new happenings here.

For those of you who don't know me, I used to play and admin this forum. I had a bit of a mental breakdown and quit playing. Nothing really interesting but maybe you'll get bits of the story sometime.

Just wanna apologize for how I left before. I still owe Ken a footbag (I am seriously going to get that to you I promise...) and I just flipped my shit because of personal stress. I was 18 and alot of things played into it.

I wanted to start playing footbag again. I think I post that here twice a year but this time I mean it. I started thinking of combos one day when I was listening to music and that hunger to play came back.

Tuesday: Erik sent me a bag (thanks so much again Erik!). Laced up the old shoes in my basement. Form was terrible. Lung capacity killed by smoking, gonna have to quit. Weight is too high. Basics are all still there. No consistency but my legs still have an understanding of what they need to do. Ordered some shoes from Daryl. Going to wait till they arrive to give it another go. Old lavers hurt my feet.

Random memories:

Remember the listserv? That was fun.

If Ken reads this, do you remember when you had that triple mohawk and you were talking to brad kaplan in the car about some comic book where in an alternate universe Canada was the world superpower? I still remember this conversation for some reason but can't remember the name. Seriously though I'll get you that bag...

I'm in Lethbridge (3 hours South of you) right now.
I bussed, and I have to go through Calgary to get home.
Do you want to hack in the near future?

Maybe ShrEdmonton could meet up too for a mini jam???

Rob Fuller!!! 8O

That was unexpected. Cool and unexpected. Very cool. Can't tell you how happy I was to read that you are getting back into the game. Don't sweat the bag at all, it would be a much better gift for me to see you get back into playing again.

And yeah, I do remember that car-ride for some reason too. That was a fun session we had. I miss my old haircut too.

I'm gonna be here for approx 2 weeks, not sure when I'm leaving... and stuff. May potentially have to leave early for an interview, but most likely will be here 2 more weeks-ish, and can stop in in Calgary for a day or whatever (as far as I know the Greyhound works...) That's where I transfer busses anyway.

Hey Rob, it's good to hear from you.

I suppose we went our separate ways after Shred Zero was no more, and now I live in a completely different city. :(

You posted this a while back, but are you still trying to get back into the game? Is there anyone else in Calgary you are kicking with these days?... Perhaps we will once again shred together, as I have decided to start kicking again as well, if only just casually in my spare time.

Hope all is well,
Brian

It was a great surprise to see your post Rob. I as well have been on and off the forum. I remember the listserv, and miss the simplicity of my life from those days. I gotta quit smoking and lose some weight too dude. Hope all is well.
