Fun Dates to Take Your Girl/Guy
Fun Dates to Take Your Girl/Guy
Fun dates to take someone on.
Ideas?
I kinda go do something different with my girlfriend, something like indoor skydiving or ziplining, something kinda exciting and adventurous and different. Anybody got cool ideas or good stories bout this type of thing?

if she's the athletic type who likes a challenge (which I'd assume she is from the other two things you mentioned), rock climbing is a lot of fun.
what about an underground cockfight?
okay, seriously, what else...
new and exciting stuff doesn't have to be physical. Have either of you tried sushi?
If you have not, you should consider going, and tell your waiter that you'd like a few "basic" choices (california roll, spicy tuna roll... don't go for the SUPER noob stuff like crab stick roll, that's no fun) as well as a few more interesting or adventurous choices.
anyway, if you've had sushi, then some other ethnic cuisine you've never had before can be a really enjoyable experience to share with a loved one.
you guys could also find a local river / stream / creek (a SAFE one) and get some tasty beverages and go for a float. maybe park one car way downstream, then drive upstream, and float back down to car one?
granted, that's more of a summer activity... keep it on deck for next year. This time of year, hikes through hilly parks are really nice... they get the endorphins running, and seeing leaves as they're changing is always a natural wonder.

Not adventurous but apple picking is actually a lot of fun and it is the season.

my wife took me out to play chip and putt (also called "3 Par Golf") recently because I'm learning to golf. It was actually really fun even if you have no interest in golf really - even though she was absolutely horrible, you get a lot of talking and laughing in, and it's just nice to be outside. Oh, and we both agreed that next time we'll bring a flask with us.

For some odd reason, renting a moped and riding it around town is pretty fun. Especially if you're restaurant hopping.

Jetboating? This can be cool, provided she doesn't mind getting a little bit wet
Other than that, maybe something like Yum Cha which can be good if you've never really eaten Chinese before (just don't order any soft drink, they'll charge you through the nose). Or paintball. Never done it but I reckon it'd be a hell of a lot of fun!
