Anssi Season Ender 2009

Post by Anz » 29 Sep 2009 04:52

Last Friday we had a season ender session in Turku with Lauri. He had his new camera with him and made a video of me.
Lauri doesn't have an account on Modified anymore so I'm posting this on his behalf.

That not only made me want to play footbag, it really made me want greasy food. Thanks guys. Crazy shred. Especially the run with whirring swirl > superfly, torch-r-rack, and triage BSOS. Whoa.
The genuinity was really evident.

EDIT: One complaint is that I had to manually change the aspect ratio, on account of the squishies :P
PS: Is your avatar a play on your BAP name? I seem to recall it was there pre-BAP, but it seems to potentially make more sense now?

incredible, wish I was coming to new year jam.

the shred was ridiculous, and the meal looked delicious!

the triages were great. I also liked the run with all the superflies. You're awesome Anssi.

Quite possibly my new favorite player. You look so balanced, and your double dexes along with everything else in the video looked clockwork. Absolutely astounding, thank you so much for this video.

Anssi,

It looks like you have more control over set height and position then at worlds. Great job on that. I'm glad to see your style is continuing to develop and improve.

Lauri,

Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the comments. It was quite cold at that time, but I was happy to play alright. Personally I liked the Revstein and Double Fairy Legover, which are hard moves for me.

It wasn't there before Berlin, and yeah it's part of the particle accelerator of the LHC.

This video serves to me as an additional reason that Anssi should be BAP-tized twice. Since he has been badass in it's purest form, Video contest video, Finnish Cast Iron I and II have been released, this video, and soon all of the second season of Trick Tips. I personally think, that if he was BAP 2.0, Jere, Eli, Mads, Kevin and even Flavio would fly, swim, burrow or hitchhike directly to Turku and start filming at once. At this point, he would eat much Kebab served by Virgins. Finally at worlds 2011 an entire video contest of PURE Acceleration would unveil. Entrance would be $50, and you'd sign a waiver warning of seizure. Dexes, stray shoes and a few "vittu"s later, we'd all be screaming Kiitos in the crowd.

On another note, this video is inspiring.

Like that people start talking about us...

Just to make it clear to everybody; I WILL NOT SWIM TO FINLAND! And yes, Anssi is a great player! To me it doesn't really matter how hard his link combos are, it's better to be consistent - smooth style, creative combos and the uniqueness of style. Kiitos suomi!
