that last track is awesome (minus the up-up-and-away trance intro and breakdowns)! i'm trying to find a download. my danish isn't very good, so those other blogs are going over my head a bit, haha.

edit: Figured i'd shoot you some good tunes i have been enjoying alot in the last few months that you may not have heard.dunno if you have come across this guy, but great party music! Super catchy! He has a big gypsy influence and samples lots of balkan music.

Andrew: I know both of these tracks. And totally something I could see myself play. I think the "American" track was the one being played the most at Roskilde.

Groupshots are important in a footbag club. Here is the one from Roskilde:

STILL TRYING!!

Three days ago I came late to a session without gear or anything.
Ended up borrowing Nis' shoes and participating in a really fun round of request contest.
We didn't have three tries, it was just about who hit it first and it could be single tricks (on one or bothsides) or links.
Played against Jacob (Mr. Spoon) and Michael (Uncle Miggeren) and I won.
Also me and Uncle Miggeren maybe invented a weird trick together:

Then yesterday I had a real session with Lise, Kim, Miggeren, Spoon and Rasmus.
Didn't play very well (as usual) but got to work on some concepts (mainly osis, infinity and pdx mirage). Highlights (Lowlights?):
- Pdx Mirage > Pixie Legover > Butterfly > Butterfly > Rpt
- Pixie Paradon first try
- Can't remember anything else.

I AM SO STOKED ABOUT FOOTBAG! YEEHAAA!

On friday I am going to see Uffie (and Feadz) with Lise, Kim, his girl and my friend Salih. That is gonna be sweet.

You totally should!

Had a hour session with Uncle Migger. We worked some stuff and shredded a bit. Even got some highlights:
- Phasing Pickup > Run
- Seven contacts of Pdx Mirage > Butter
- Ended the session with new trick: Ducking PS Mirage

It's been a great summer in Copenhagen.

Back home visiting my parents, so I had a solo-session in my my old room.
Haven't had a solo session in probably a year.

Good times and some highlights:
Whirl bs
DLO bs (tip: start fast)
Drifter bs
Face > Flapper > SS Osis (Inspired by Chris Dean)
8 unique guiltless first try (no planning)
David style SS Clipper bs (Like from his routine)
10 infinities (needs a lot more work)

Played to a mix by Fashen from the do over, check it here:

Thinking about doing silly logos like that for all my blogposts.
Like it?

So Jorden is visiting for sometime. Trying to earn some money busking here Copenhagen. Pretty effing sweet.
He has been here for a little over 2 days now and last night we had our first session.
From the danish crew it was me, Spoon, Miggeren and Nis playing with Mads n' Mads and Kasper hanging out.

Jorden is still fucking good at footbag. What impressed me the much was how interesting even his warm-up runs where.
Who the hell has interesting warm-up runs?

I played really bad but ending out with some highlights:
- Worked for whirls for some time and footed Pdx Whirl bs
- Dimwalk > Blurry Legover > Butterfly > Neckstall > Blind Osis > Eclipse
- Had a really bad fall trying Inside Muted Swirling Osis footed it a couple of times

I really need to play more.

FOOTBAG!

Been partying and hanging out a lot with Lise lately. Always good times.

Also I am a mod now.

Yes, I am. Basicly I am trying to learn some of all these silly easy tricks I have been neglecting for weird or big shit.
Right now main focus is on Pdx Mirages, Whirls and Infinities.
Also I try to stand more upright and more on my toes which David pointed out.
It feels like I have gotten the belief and desire to get better back after a long time.
Nice feeling, still not playing enough.

I got adviced by one of the guys from "Lortehænderne" ( http://www.soundcloud.com/lortehaenderne - love the guys, love their mixes ).
To check out Buraka Som Sistemas Essential Mix. And it's super sweet. You can find it on google.
Also Fashen puts up mixes by him like every other week on http://itsfashen.com/.
Favorite mix ever could be this one: http://www.robotdancemusic.com/2009/02/ ... ega-mix-2/

Danish Champs was this weekend.

- Mathias Blau won everything (except request, where he didn't compete)
- Kim won request
- Jan Birkel was the only one that really impressed me
- We played alot of pingpong
- I did a next level avantgarde routine with Mathias Blau reading from a childrens book instead of playing to music
- The book was called "Toaster Dan", and he looks like this:
Image
- Kim, Rasmus and Nis made an amazing soup for dinner on saturday

I am happy that people enjoyed the David Clavens interview. I got a Milan Benda interview coming out soon.

And here is my favorite dj mix at the moment:
