Check the first post to see what to do if you can't access it. ;-)

I'm assuming you're referring to PMing wolfpac, which I did about a week ago when I first tried to access it. I never got a response, and I was wondering if the problem was on my end or not.

Sorry about that. I think he's super busy last/this week. Give him a week and if you don't hear back from him please PM me and I'll see what I can do.

Hi all, just an FYI: The link is down until further notice. Mike isn't able to work on fixing it right now, so we're going to leave him alone for a few weeks (or more) and then someone can ask him again. That someone can be me, but only if someone reminds me. :P Otherwise, you can do it. :)

Post the code?

Post by hoboirl » 09 Dec 2010 15:30

Instead of trying to get the site working, why not just post the code? If it's javascript you could just post the code here in a new post. Or if it's flash you could compress it into a .zip or .rar and upload the archive to rapidshare or some similar site.

I haven't stitched a 32 and I haven't seen the original pattern generator but I made my own version, I hope it works as it should :P

The thing is it generates images instead of pdfs because generating images from php is more commonly supported. But this means you have to print it out with the correct dots (pixels) per inch resolution. MS Paint has a default DPI of 96 (at least on Windows XP) so that's what I chose as the default.

I can share the source if anyone wants to host it in a normal place (requires PHP with GD which is pretty common as I said).
I could also try making a pdf version like the original or maybe even an offline program?

Wait. I made a better one :D. It's in flash so it has pretty much no requirements on the server plus you can download it and it generates pdfs. Just remember that when you're printing pdfs you have to set page scaling to none or it will mess up the dimensions :P. Also I have only A4 paper, I don't know if letter/legal paper will cause errors in the measurements (I think they won't if you set the scaling to none).

Can someone recommend a program with which to run this file so I can use the flash based one by Ville Sokk on my Mac?
