Interesting. Lon's perspective on training is as unique as his style. I remember in the early 2000s talking to him about snug fitting shoes versus loose fitting shoes, and him saying he always bought his shoes a full size too big, because he played better that way. Given how good a player he is, it's hard to argue with his results...that said part of me wonders if he is just so talented that he succeeds despite his training, as opposed to because of it.
