First glance says that my University's exam period ends on the 18th... The timing is very good. A graduation present for myself...

Have the yankees implemented the whole passport across land thing yet?? Cuz if they did I'll have to get a damn passport.

Last GRASS was one of the best times I've ever had ever, so I will do my best to come down again.

James,

It might be a good idea to get a passport. I am not sure what the processing time is in Canada but for US it can take up to six months. I know that passports are expensive, but isn't GRASS worth it?

It's definitely a good idea to get a passport. The whole world is your playground with a passport. I mean, the world is out there waiting, and you can always make your plans and then get a passport, but I think its alot better to already have one before you have a specific voyage in mind.

This past September, I had just gotten back from the Funtastik Summer Classic and was feeling more amped up about footbag than I had been in months (my summer hadn't been all that great for footbag) and I checked the ol' calendar to see what other events were coming up soon. Low-and-behold the very first South American Footbag Championships were the following month, and, with passport in hand, 5 weeks later I was having an awesome time in Colombia. If I first had to apply for a passport and then wait to get it, I would not have been able to simply book my trip and go. Even if the passport had arrived on time, I would not have felt comfortable buying plane tickets until I already had the in passport in hand, and by the time it arrived, it would probably have been too late to get the tickets (at least, at any reasonable price).

So, you should get that thing just so you have it, since you never know what opportunities will pop up on short notice, and you'd want to be ready to take advantage of 'em when they do.

Oh, and I intend to come to Rochester this year. I can't make a firm promise just yet, though. Speaking of passports, I hope to go to SpainJam again this year, and last year they were on the same weekend. GRASS is a little earlier this year than last, though, so, if SpainJam isn't also moved up one week this time then I should be able to do both.
