I did it but cant really decide if I like it, I didnt really notice a difference. I dont think im gonna do it to my next pair. It probably just doesnt make a difference at my low level of play.

ight.. so basically to do the brocka mod, i have to cut away the upper "padding" from the ankle bone area down to the stitching line holding in the padding?... where do i stop (longways)?

I have a huge broka mod on all my shoes. I need it though since my ankle bends so close to the bottom of my foot... it's all in the shape of your foot. That's what determines your need for a brocka mod

ok... this is kind of confusing me...

i went to make the incisions in my lavers, but i wanted to check exactly how, first, so i look and here's the best pics i can see of the brocka mod.

i'm confused as to where all the rips on the inside are from... my laver doesn't seem to have those and i'm confused just generally all around, plz help

those are the leftovers of the inside canvas mod on the lavers where the canvas was cut away from the inside surface leaving only the mesh outer layer.

does it help, and you have to re-sew it?

for lavers, I've found there is abotu the same effect as a brocka cut to just remove the padding fro mthe inside, without removing any other material. but, different people have different ankles

Cutting out the inside canvas just makes it easier to 'feel' the bag. It makes it easier to know when you've stuck a move, I guess, but I know it feels damn good :D You don't have to stitch anything back up if you do it right, but you have to be very careful.

Brocka mod rules! :D Not only does it flatten out your clipper, but it will also prevent the shoe's mesh from bunching up in the clipper position. Took me a while to realize that my roll-off was caused by the mesh buckling a bit outwards on my shoe, and not my ankle. Now my clippers are even more consistent than my toe delays! :D
