Re: Dan Reed

I hurt my back last week at work and couldn't play over the weekend. Just rested up and enjoyed the the 90+ weather out at the beach. I played on Monday but only for an hour and just went over some of what I was doing last week. My back is getting better but it's not 100%, I'm doing lots of work to ...

Re: Dan Reed

Sunday was a day of shuffling around. We were at Alki beach during a street fair and started off street preforming for an hour on an awful surface. I felt I did alright street preforming this time but only had a handful of sealed strings. After our time was up we moved to to a different spot that ou...

Re: Tournaments need a new level added

I feel you on the wanting to move on from int. but not being ready to compete with the next level. I also think adding more levels would spread the competitors too thin. I don't think the thought of getting beaten badly should keep people from competing open. You're not going to start at the top of ...

Re: Dan Reed

Kind of a lame session today. My legs had absolutely no bounce and my knee was in a little pain so I just took it easy. I only played for an hour and it was almost all warm up. Once I got through my usual warm up I tried to move on to mixers but I just didn't feel it so I switched to drifter and tha...

Re: Rain City Shred Chronicles: The VHS Tapes

I really like this one and I don't think I've ever seen this footage before, bonus!!! Reminds me of the old days when everyone had their own specialties. It is nice to see some more Ricky footage released although I do feel the need to point out this was not Ricky at his peak but when he was just st...

Re: Dan Reed

Sunday was pretty awesome. It was just Justin and I playing at the Bite of Seattle and the weather was pretty good, mostly cloudy but about 70. We played next to the 206 booth(seattle clothing line) and helped draw in some customers for them. We weren't street preforming but we still made like $20-$...

Re: Nick Polini: Relearning Footbag Is FUN!!! :D (PSU)

Crazy small world sometimes. Yeah, we recruited Warren at Folklife along with a few others and he seems to have the bug. He already had circle kicker experience and could do multiple atw in a row when we met him. I haven't seen him in about a month so I don't know if he still is but he was improving...

Re: Dan Reed

Things have been going pretty good lately. My ankle healed faster than it ever has after a roll, I got rid of comcast saving me some $$$, good new diet is working out and I'm in the best shape of my life. I went and saw The Dark Knight Rises and it was to good for me to explain. I have never been th...

Re: Dan Reed

Today I decided to work on blender, drifter and whirl. I played for about an hour and a half and once again I didn't film until I was sweat drenched and spent. I started out with warm up and bop but quickly moved on to my drifter stuff. With drifter I am much more confident setting from toe than fro...

"since my runs are kinda boring"
I like all of your vids and am never bored by them. All the whips give you a pretty unique style. If anything I'd like to see more gyro tricks. Gyro whip would be a pretty cool set up trick. Sick vids Eric. Keep em coming.

I haven't played since my last post because thursday at work I rolled my ankle. It wasn't that bad but I didn't want to aggravate it and miss more playing time so I just iced and stretched it all weekend. Today I got back into the swing of things and with the help of some alieve ma ankle didn't both...

Sunday ended up being a 2 man session. Justin and I went out to Alki beach and tore it up for about 3 hours before exhaustion got the best of us. I wore myself out pretty quickly with mixers and smp mirages but still managed to play decent. One combo that was giving me trouble(open ss mirage>smp ss ...

Thanks Reilley and Roy. PS whirl alone is huge for me. I had a pretty good solo session today(a little over 2 hours). I mainly worked my open sets and BOP but ended up with a few decent strings and links. The highlight of the day was probably 51 infinity :D I knew I would get it now I need 100. Some...

Had another session, just an hour. Mainly just me trying to get to 50 infinity. I got to 35, 38 and 39 as my best shots and a bunch of 20 somethings. They are getting noticeably better. It's going down in the next few days. I also got pheonix>ps whirl a new fearless link for me. [youtube]http://www....

RCS played down at the waterfront today but I couldn't make it. I had to work until 6 am today and couldn't wake up in time to go but I played anyway. I went down to the Redmond skate park and had a solo. Clear skies and 70+ made for a good vibe to start out. I didn't really know what I wanted to wo...
