Re: NYFA New Year Spam?
Getting psyched for New Years in general -- for party, for time off work, for skiing, and for SHRED! The hours sound okay -- the timing isn't bad, but... only two hours on Tuesday? If the alternate plan gets us 3 hours on both days, then I think I like the other plan better... Is the choice between ...

Re: hacky sack millionaires
Well, I'm half reptilian on my father's side, and, I can't remember exactly what planet Jeremy is from, but I'm pretty sure he's some kind of space-man. Anyway, I think I'm with Nick on this one --- I don't think you can really call some racist things as being black-or-white (no pun intended) yes-or...

Re: hacky sack millionaires
Now now, don't be hating, Jer. After getting Nick P's point of view, and talking this over more with a friend, I think it is at least worth considering what Nick has to say and bearing in mind that this all can be seen from more then one point of view. While I still think the videos are pretty funny...

I won't speak for others, but I for one will admit that subtlety is not my strong suit. Things like that often go right over my head. But, since you have brought it up, please elaborate on this subtle racism so that I may benefit.Pasquar wrote:I don't think white people understand the subtlety of their racism.

Re: Princeton NJ, Oct 24th-27th
So, Rory and I jammed for a few hours on Thursday and for another few hours on Sunday in Princeton, NJ.
We kicked ass. We had fun. Rory is really good, and has great style.
All you suckas who didn't come, you do not kick ass, you did not have fun, and your style is bad. Ha! Take that.

Re: Set Phasers To Love Me! [April's Footblog (PSU)]
I agree, I like the new title. I just like the idea of unusual Phaser settings! It reminds me of a line from a song --- "You may set your charm on stun / and say I'm delightful and fun / but you say that everyone..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BiuM_x34AM In that example, its not a weird phaser ...

Sorry, Jon, for misseplling your name. Yes, you will be... you WILL be... See ya soon! :P As for osis, yes... osis is like a dog --- if your dog is not trained, it can be an unruly beast in your home, making trouble, breaking stuff, pooping in your living room... and dogs don't ordinarily tr...

Re: Eskimo Joe's Foot Notes
Cool post, cool highlights!
I often get wrapped-up in the "footbag as exercise" mentality, and, truly, I like that, it is not a problem for me. However, I think I may try following your lead on this for a change of pace. Thanks.

Hey Rory, I'm in --- we'll talk, we'll work out the details -- we'll have a good shred at Princeton. Here's some video of the last time I had a good shred in Princeton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KLvCL0jhsA That wasn't my first good shred in Princeton, but I don't have video of those earlier ex...

Peanut Butter is great! But, don't limit yourselves -- try some Almond Butter and Cashew Butter. All dem butters 'r great. If peanut butter was an in-out dex, then almond butter might be an out-in dex, and cashew butter could be a back-to-front swirl... Its not any one option that makes it great, it...

Re: ECFC! East Coast Footbag Championships!
Well, another great East Coast Footbag Championships has been concluded. A great time was had by all. Things really did go very well --- we had a pretty cool site to play at -- shady, public, very few hassels. Lots of good shredding. Competition ran a little bit dysfunctional on the first day, but b...

Re: Thirty Three Threes in Thirteen
Nice string, Funky C! Its giving me just a little extra inspiration for East Coast Footbag Championships tomorrow. Thanks. This barely meets what I gave myself as minimum requirements for my goal: at least 5 different unique moves in those 31 contacts. I want more. Okay, I'm diggin' that. Its a good...

A read a post on FaceBook just a day or two ago, written by a friend of mine and fantastic freestyler, who said that he called Addidas and was told that that Rod Laver -- IS -- being discontinued, but will be RE-ISSUED in early 2014... I trust my friend, but, I don't really count my chickens until t...

Attention all East Coast Footbag Championships COMPETITORS : If you intend to compete in the 2-minute Routines, please bring your music on a CD. Ideally, you should bring your music on an MP3 Player AND a CD ---- we have not worked-out all the kinks with our sound-system yet, and we want to be prepa...

The ongoing question though is will the "hacky sackers at a music festival" get into the footbag at competitions style of thing. That's it's own debate Just to clarify my own position --- I'm not trying to say that Hacky Sackers necessarily need to be converted into freestyle and/or net players. I ...

Re: The availability of Rod Lavers
There have long been rumors of the disappearance of Lavers... Unfortunately, sometimes rumors turn out to be true. I don't have any more definitive answers than anybody else here. Lavers might or might not disappear. If they disappear, they might stage a comeback shortly there-after. Or, they might ...

Re: New Abshire Footbags, new music, new monster rally!
Killer stuff this time Fogle! Nice rally. I liked some of those combos in particular --- the dragonfly to osis was nice and the butterflyer to spinning kick near the end was something I'd been hoping to see from you for a while. Awesome! Your freak-out near the end reminds me of Paul McCartney near ...
