Who has the coolest name in footbag?

Post by C-Fan » 18 Nov 2010 10:46

This is completely silly, but I thought I'd ask the community: who has the coolest name in footbag? I'm not talking nicknames, I'm talking given names. Feel free to add any here.

Ugh, I somehow forgot to put "Yacine Merzouk" in there. That's pretty awesome right there.

thats pretty hard to argue with.

i also cant help be biased towards Douglas Tank. Ben Little too, mostly for ironic reasons.

edit- duh, tom mosher, without knowing whether he ever gets off the bike long enough to shred anymore :P

Oh man, Mads Hole is a good call.

Emily Kulczyk - if it is in fact pronounced "cool chick" - is tough to beat.

Mads Hole! How did I miss that one?

Fletch Funk is also a good one.

While Mosher and Tank are great names, i guess I was going more for the full name... and Tom and Doug don't add much to their last names. That said, I put John Bagi on there...so who knows. Anyway, good list so far. I haven't voted, but I think for me it'd be between Mads Hole and Bartek Bubula. That name is just sweet.

Jorden Moir provided it is prounced the same as "more" or John Goode. Both are sweet because of all the jokes you can make. Felix Zenger is cool too. "Hes feelin it." "He is so good" "You should do some more of that trick" "The zen master..." when somebody in Zenger's circle is playing well.
But based on badass sounding names all the polish people top the list. In this order Arkadiusz, Olaf, mariusz, michal, damian, and bartek are the most badass.

Anyone remembers Evan Lovely? He has an awesome name! :-)

I also like Tuomas Riisalo, Tuukka Antikainen for how they sound. John Bagi has a really footbaggy last name. Charles Dupuy has a funny last name for Polish people, because it sounds like a Polish word "dupy" which means "asses". I love Olaf's last name. "Piwowar" = "a guy who brews beer".

who is this Tuukka Antikainen. I always see guys like Tuuka, Tukka, Tuukk, Antikine and such in competitions, but never Tuukka Antikainen. He's a ghost I guess.

hahaha I never realized how many people had awesome names. Almost every comment in this thread made me laugh.

Some of my favorites here are Tank, Funk, Mosher, and Chrisdean 8). But my inner Butthead says that Mads Hole is the funniest.

Other good ones are Chris Kovacs and Laroche. Also I always thought Mr. Irish had a cool name.

Keep in mind Mads Hole isn't really pronounced like the synonym for "angry's pit". :P

The Danes pronounce it more like "Mess Ho-lah". Not sure how that affects his standing...
Great guy btw. :)

Corey, my last name is pronounced "Moy-er". Definitely not that cool!!

I'm a sucker for names with x in them leave alone x-z combos so Feilx Zenger for me but to fly the flag for us Aussies I'd nominate Jamieson Hickingbotham.

It has that old-world British Imperial charm - just like the man himself. Whenever I hear it I picture him hitting rad combos by the hearth, pipe in hand, in a tweed smoking jacket and shred short combo. There's also a butler next to him with a bottle and snifter of brandy on a silver platter.
Who wears short shorts?
