Go to the website www.commo.xtremehost.com. (I think that's it, its under the template generator thread, page 6.) And type in 1.9 cm, 2 cm and 33%. Low-medium bite and meek-high gather. Should turn out spiffy lol.

Re: Bags You've Made
i use between 35-40% for 3-stitches, and bite a little deeper around the hexes than the rest of my stitches. med-low bite, and medium-high gather is good.
good lookin bags from a bunch of new stitchers, nice to see.

Re: Bags You've Made
a quick 4 panel for one of my brother's inexperienced buddies from work. I think as long as he lets it break in fully, washes it once it gets a little crispy and doesn't chicken scratch it to hell and back, it should be butter lol. Steel and poly fill. Shoulda used the new seed bead I just bought...next time lol.

Re: Bags You've Made
nice 4 panel! somehow i cant sew bags under 14 panels this one looks really clean and stuff!
my latest creation... trybrid! 3 kinds of fabric! i think it looks funny but it feels sooooooooooooooooooooo soft!
i salvaged the hexes from an old test bag that had "rubber" pents, wasnt good, so i took the hexes and gave them a chance for a good shreddy life!

I feel ya man, I always have a hard time tying off four panels cleanly. I was gonna start a 32 but I have a boatload of ultrasuede that should be here tomorrow so I think I can wait haha.

12 panel. Country cream, colonial red and black noir. Right around 60 grams and a little bit larger than a golf ball.
4 panel. Ceramic teal and topiary. Two colors that I am actually very impressed with. Hqavent had the chance to stitch a 32 with em yet but they seem very durable yet choice. Around 75 grams and quite a bit larger than a golf ball. Intended for my brother's friends who like to attempt stalls but also have a tendancy to boot it lol.

Hyperman, what kinda filler do you use? And how much do you want for that jungle print bag?
Re: Bags You've Made
I use size 12 lead shot and size 10 seed beads, and bags are $20.

Re: Bags You've Made
Hey guys,
Ive stitched a few 12 and 14 panel footbags, but Ive done alot of crocheted footbags...
here is some pics...
when I first started footbaging I kicked a cheep walmart crocheted footbag and i did not like it... it was filled about 90% full of plastic pellets that would slowly leak through the knitting....
so I came up with these... there about 50 grams, 50%-65% fill ratio, and are filled with a sand/metal mix.
The filler is contained in a breathable/streachable pouch that does not effect the play of the footbag...
There a lot softer and more plyable then your normal crocheted footbag, and stall a lot better.
there still not the best for freestyle, but can take a lot of abuse which makes it good for circle kicking.
Do you think these would work good for footbag net? Im not quite sure what type of footbag they use for that....

Re: Bags You've Made
So, a few days ago I ordered 6 pounds of .7 mm wire cut stainless pellets from pellets LLC (highly recommended company) and finally received them today. They were a bit smaller than I though but I decided, screw it, ill make a four panel with them and see how they are. I ended up making a 56 gram four panel almost the same size as my bear bag and, wow, it has the stallability of a Mr with the weight and precision of a 32. The only down side is they tend to leak out of the bleed holes because of their size, but a touch of super glue fixed the problem. I REALLLLLY didn't wanna put glue on my bag, but I felt like I needed to test these pellets out.

Re: Bags You've Made
wow, great job man!
those 4 and 8 panel footbags can surprise ya sometimes, I know they surprised me...
I always thought that 32's were the best for stalls and trick (which they usually are) but when i kicked the freedom footbags 8 panel infinity i was amazed at its control and stallability... they are really a pretty good footbag considering....
so did you get that filler here in the us or..?????

Yep, their company is based out of new York I think. $35 for 6 pounds of 304 stainless steel wire cut shot with a 2 day turn around.
