So I don't think I ever posted this. The day before I left to go to Vegas Jam, I met a kid who kicks. He just graduated high school and is still a beginner. But I have kicked with him a few times now. He as a lot of potential and he asks a lot of good questions. I can tell he is motivated to learn.

We had a session the other night, and I decided to give Brandon some exposure to the footbag world.

He had not even tried whirl before this session and he hit it. I also challenged him hit spin clip - spin mirage, which he got twice.

So I haven't played footbag since the day after that video I made with Brandon.

I have a cyst at the top of my tailbone that is causing a lot of health issues. Tomorrow morning I am going in to have it drained as phase one of my surgery. It sucks, I wont be able to play for a while, And I think I am going to have to cancel my trip to US Open so that I can get the surgery done sooner than later.

Yes, I am having butt surgery...

Angeski, weekends are really tough for me. Not off work unless I request a few weeks in advance. Weekdays work better for me, but probably not for Antonathon

Good article. I especially like that footbag.org was mentioned as a resource. Overall it captured the scene and the sport nicely I thought.

Now that it's on record in print that you "regularly post videos of your sessions," you probably should start doing that.

Thanks for the kind words on the atricle. I thought it was done well too.

So that interview is a couple weeks old. And since then I went to Kalamazoo to visit Anton and Donovan. We kicked 3 straight days and played disc golf everyday too. It was exhuasting. Then I was having problems with my butt again so I didn't kick for 2 weeks. So now my rear end is better I am playing again. 2 sessions this week. First one was only 30 minutes and it was slightly raining. I did manage bedwetter - dimmiest bs, I never thought I would be able to do this on the flip, WIN. The other session was yesterday morning at my friends house while I was waiting for him to wake up.

Another 30 minute session. This one was a little better

I have been putting in 60+ hour work weeks the last 2 weeks. The Whirlyball I work at is hosting an Invitational Tournament this week. I have to work 12+ hour days while trying to compete in the tournament. Should have some video from the tourney (ken) so I will put it up in a few weeks.

The first stepping set of this video (after the spinning whirl) was probably the fastest stepping set I have ever seen.
