Ah, see? Same distance, much more time. :P Interesting though.

Played last night for an hour and tonight for 50mins. Damn if it don't feel good to be playing again! Been working heaps more on basics seeing some great improvements... my fairy set bs is starting to look good, as are DLO's. Being really disciplined and not hitting anything big atm, can't wait to get my basics down like a bitch :D Also managed to figure out double switchover pretty well on both sides, have hit it b2b now a few times in the last 2 sesh's. Keen to have that in the repertoire also.

Have a job interview tomorrow. Could get me into head office. Fingers crossed!!

Well been busy, ridiculously hot, and sick. But played again tonight. Only half an hour, Dad came home and we got chatting and then I was too lazy to get going again :( Didn't get the last job, but had another interview yesterday which went even better than the last. Hopeful for this one :)

Good news is, I have next week off and am taking my favourite person to Tassie for a few days *heart*

I'm sure you meant "meeting my favourite person in Tassie."

Keen for Tassie? You can always crash at my place. That's like an open invite to all footbaggers.

not this time. I've got some family things to do, and going to spend some time at the beach. I think I'll try and get to Tas sometime next year.

So, playing some footbag again, which feels amazing. Have had a couple of sessions since Narooma Jam at the end of Jan, but starting to be more deliberate about it. I've bought a house now which is across the road from a childcare center which has a great flat concreted carpark. Being a child care centre it's conveniently empty by 6 o'clock which is usually when I'm ready to play after work :D

Working on a lot of basics. I want to be really fluent at Illusion, Mirage, BOPs, Barrage, DLO, Whirl, Drifter and of course all the usual tiltless moves, from all different setting points. So I'm doing a lot of drills around that at the moment. Feel like I had a bit of an 'aha' moment with flip clipper tonight, which has never felt right. I plan to video myself often as well to keep an eye on my form.

Wanting to post here too, as that's been something that's motivated me in the past.

Do you have any plans for this weekend?

Me and Jonathan are going to Hay on the weekend. According to my research this is 3.5hrs from Bendigo. We should arrange a kick...maybe meet somewhere in between or something?

Hay! Is in the middle of nowhere it turns out. Yeah why not... Deniliquin seems to be halfway. When would suit you?

Awesome. I reckon Sunday morning I guess. The game is on Saturday at 2 and we're going to stay there...maybe like 11, then we will drive back to Canberra from there.
