I just want to add another goal:

Barfly > DDD x 10

I've been going over Sailing and Frantic a lot lately, trying hard to work them into my muscle memory. Not really too much else other then my downtime concepts, double spinning, rakes and your usual toe sets.

Frantic. My new favorite set. On my strongside (which is my weak quantum) it's strangely really consistant. On my weakside, it's very inconsistant. I used to be able to only work on it for so long, then I'd lose it completely. Yesterday, however, I think I may have broken that, and did the most frantic sets on that side than any other session.

Rubberman II is also getting easier.

Highlights:

- Vortex Rake bs
- Pdx Drifter Rake
- Frantic ss Egg
- Frantic Mirage x 2
- Frantic Butterfly > Bedwetter > Frantic Mirage > Blade Runner off the foot
- Frantic Legover x 4
- Dominatrix x 4
- Sailing Butterfly > Blur > Dominatrix x 2

Update on my goals:
B_Man wrote:Some footbag goals for the next two months:

- DLOs, Eggs, Whirls & Drifters with multiples of 9
- Pdx Drifter > Pdx Torque x 10
- 40 contacts of my Pixie / Stepping / Atomic + Whirl / Drifter / Double Down (ss & far) Drills
- Quantum Everything > Atomic Everything
- Rubberman 2, x 2 (maybe x 3?)
- Need to be better at Far, Gyro and Spinning Rev. Swirls
- Barfly > DDD x 10
- DLOs and Whirls w/ multiples of 9 DONE. Eggs and Drifters are proving very difficult.
- Record of Pdx Drifter > Pdx Torque stands at 8 contacts since I posted that goal.
- Haven't touched my shuffle drills.
- Quantum > Atomic. Hopefully I can get started on this one in about 2 weeks.
- Rubberman II x 2 won't be too hard. I could probably do it in the next session if I wanted to devote more time to it.
- Haven't worked Rev. Swirls. Maybe sometime this week.
- 14 contacts of the Double Down drill

Definitely! Maybe a session or lunch or something :D.

Had a good kick last night with Rory. I don't think he's ever given me so many props in one sesh:

- Alpine Blurry Whirling Rake bs
- Blurry Whirling Rake > Dimwalk x 2 > run
- Barfly Rake > Locomotion
- Double Spinning Osis > Stepping Whirl almost bsos
- Frantic Butterfly > Bedwetter on weakside
- A good number of genuine 20 contact runs

Also met up with Erin tonight, who (within an hour) hit:

- Illusion
- ATW (in & out)
- Pickup
- Legover > Legover

And had Mirage off his foot countless times before he had to leave. I hope he chooses footbag over soccer ( ) because he's a quick learner and would be one hell of a player in a few years.

Yeah, geeze. Everybody should know that by now  ( ).

Good question Adam! I'm curious about that too...

First session in just about a week today, due to my knee acting up on Friday night (I don't think I can play on carpets) and getting sick Monday. Basically this is the second time in about three weeks I think where I'm pissing out of my ass for 24 hrs, except this time I threw up as and had real bad abdominal pains as well. Not too fun :P .

Anyways, last Thursday I had a pretty good session and this afternoon was mostly spent towards going over foundation and easier stuff.

Here's an attempt of something that I'd like to hit sometime in the near future.

Kevin was in town and yesterday Rory and I were able to catch up with him over lunch, then had a session afterwards. Kevin was there for about half of it before he got picked up to spend some time with his family. So needless to say, I tried showing off  . Today I had a good shuffle drilling session.

- Superduperfly Rake
- Slicing ss Legover & ss Mirage
- Blurriest Rake > Locomotion > Superfly Rake (second PWF Beast)
- Mirage, Legover, Pickup & Illusion Everything (seperately)
- Double Spinning Osis > Spinning Clipper x 2
- 34 contacts of genuine shuffle
- 15 contacts of Quantum Everything (had last trick off my foot :x )
- Matador x 7 bs
- Sumo > Legbeater x 10

Very nice.

Your posts about your accomplishments in your blog always motivate me to go on and on and on, till I can hit one thing you've recently added here.
I hope to see you shred in real in Berlin this year!

hey Byrin, do you think you could hit symp. locomotion? Like a superfly, land quick snap bail to osis? Or for that matter a symp. reaper?

Props for tearing it up. The stuff you're hitting is insane.

I tried it Max, and I'm not too sure. I didn't try for very long but it definitely feels strange.

My knee has been acting up a lot lately, which has been a big motivational killer.

I may have only kicked perhaps 3 times in the past 3 weeks? Basically, like I said in my previous post, my knee has been pretty bad. I've gotten x-rays taken last week, and had to go back for more yesterday. Basically something to do with a possible dislocation of my knee caps. The docs were saying that they are abnormally shifted to the outside of my leg and needed more views to be sure as to wtf is going on. I also saw them write something down that said "skyline patella", whatever that means?

I should know what the results are Friday.

So yeah, basically I'm not kicking until I know wtf is wrong. Instead, I've been getting back into weight lifting and have been thinking about picking up the guitar again. Oh yes, and I've been reading quite a bit in the last little while as well.

My last session, which was Monday of last week, I hit Frankenstein (which is funny because I can barely Swirl and have never hit Ripstein) and a good number of genuine 20 contact strings. Also got a few Gyro Symp Rev. Swirling Stepping sets but couldn't get anything out of them. I think I also bsos'd Locomotion as a downtime concept. That was a big accomplishment. I also hit Pixie Paradon > Blurriest > Superfly bs and Alpine Legbeater > Void > Pdx Torque bs, and finally I remember it took me three attempts to bsos BS Bedwetter, and fewer attempts to get Pixie Motion bsos.

Sorry to hear the bad news about your knee.
Here's a bit of explanation regarding Skyline Patella

I hope everything ends up being alright for you, and swiftly.

Nice highlights, btw.
