Step 1- read my Twirl tips (search for topic Twirl Tips by author Matt Cross).

once you've learned twirl, you'll be ready to move on to this. it differs from twirl in that you set just a little bit higher (9-10 inches), and as your set foot heads back to the ground, you hop off your support leg. Then, you plant your set foot, and bend at the knee just a little bit. It feels similar to prepping for the dex for a PS whirl in that it builds up some tension in your leg muscles when you bend your knee so that you can immediately spring back against that and get a higher, more relaxed dex.

remember to turn your back just a little as you're planting for the dexterity, stand up straight over the planted dexing leg, and keep your dexing leg loose when it's in the air. This will help you get a bigger dex on this weird move. Turn a little more as you're dexing to bring the osis into place. Keep that catch foot ankle cranked, land smooth on the ball of your dexing foot and bend your knee a little for good landing and balance.

Paradox Swivel is very similar, just remember to set low and get your back turned.

Funny... I hit Swivel long before coming close to Twirl. I guess I'm just goofy.
