Casey's Challenges...

Post by caseyweed » 09 May 2006 17:00

Hello...

I'm not quite Tiltless yet. But I think I'm rather close. I guess I need the challenges to help me get there. Here's what I can do...

2 adds:
ATW (Out/In-In/Out) BS
Legover BS
Illusion BS
Mirage BS
Spinning Toe Delay
Ducking/Diving/Weaving/Zulu Toe Delay
Clipper (Terrible at them right now...can only do them on Strong Side)
Pickup BS
Pixie BS

3 adds:
Butterfly (Can hit them consistently on Strong Side...better than clippers)
Symp Mirage Strong Side
Ducking Legover BS
Ducking/Diving Mirage Strong Side
Ducking/Diving Clipper Strong Side (Can hit consistently)

4 adds (My proudest moments):
Ducking/Diving Butterfly Strong Side
Ducking Symp Mirage Strong Side

Now I know it's not much. I've been shredding for about 5 months by myself. I need to learn some more tricks.

So far I've been working on hitting DLO, Eggbeater, Clippers, Pdx Mirages, and Fairies mostly.

Gimme some drills... :)

Alright:

Single moves:
Smear-pixie opp mirage
PLO-pixie opp legover
Smudge-pixie opp illusion
Flail-symp illusion
Dimwalk-pixie opp butterfly

Definitely start drilling those clippers, sounds like you're going to have great toe game but you should defintely feel comfortable hittin clippers before you start trying for anything harder than youve got now. I suggest for clipper on both sides balancing yourself in a clipper position and putting the bag on your foot and just moving your foot up and down over and over so you get that motion down. Start getting totally both sided early and your game will be easier and better.

Drills:
Clipper > Far legover/illusion is all i can think of right now, try going for long strings, hit the easy stuff bsos.

Goodluck

Yeah I really didn't want to move on to anything complicated until I could hit Clippers consistently on both sides.
