I never posted in here, despite starting the thread. It's really hard to say. I'd say when I was a kid, Scottie Pippen.

Now, I really like this skateboarder:

I've greatly enjoyed everybody's answers so far, and the videos. I think Asmus' handballer is one of the ones I like best.

This guy's pretty sick. He skates with a different style than most.
Not my favorite athlete but definantly my favorite skater.

My favorite athlete as of right now has to be this guy. If you don't agree that's ok, just don't say it to his face.

I like to play.
I want to play good.

I realized that I postd here a while ago saying I would post something from some of my favorite gymnasts and never did, here's some stuff. PLEASE watch some of this, gymnastics was my life before footbag and is IMO one of the best artistic sports out there.

Danelle Leyva on highbar, such a beast.

Steven Legendre on floor

Li Xiaopeng, parallel bars 8O

Compilation of highbar tricks. Highbar is obviously my favorite of the six events.

This one is a bit lengthy but has some SICK stuff in it, it also shows how gymnastics and footbag are similar in terms of judgement of difficulty, each trick is preceded by the name and a value on an A-G scale, which corresponds to the add system, where an "A" level trick would be the equivalent of, say, a toe stall and a "G" would be like a montage or something.

Also similar to footbag, ALL of this stuff is SO much more difficult than it looks, the art of the sport is making it look easy. Hope you enjoy :!:

Thanks Jeremy

I seem to have not posted the last video I intended to, it was meant to be this one:

Edit: Problems attributed to iPad, as per usual

I think the problem is that you're posting with your phone, which gives a different address, which doesn't work with the embedding code. Your tags are fine.

The link for embedded videos should look like this;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

Greatly greatly enjoyed the Kilan Martin videos. Super creatives skating, but also beautifully shot videos too.

This ended up winning me a free beer. I was doing trivia night last night, and the question was "in the last two olympics the US has taken silver in water polo. Which two eastern european countries beat the US?" Since I looked up Reid's athlete on wikipedia back when he posted it, I knew that Hungary used to be good at water polo, so I wrote "Hungary" and won a free beer! Thanks Reid!

(the other country was Serbia, fwiw)
