Hey, circle kicker looking to get into freestyle!

Post by the_music_man » 09 Dec 2010 14:11

Hey, i've been kicking around for a few months now and a friend of mine showed me a video of a freestyer, and he showed me this site. I was looking around and i wound up here :P. Now I've got basic kicks down. (Inside, toe, and outside) but what should I do next?

She is right on

From basic stalls you can go one of two directions... The clipper stall ( see David clavens tutorial on YouTube) or learn how to dex (pass your leg around the bag - see anz trickz tutorials on YouTube)

Tutorials are a great thing for building your game. What's also important is to feed the inspiration to build your game, so I recommend that you click around on youtube and watch a bunch of videos of more experienced players until you get that "my mind is totally blown and I can't wait to improve so I can do that awesome stuff" feeling.

Thanks a lot you guys. For some reason the stalls come really easy to me. O.o weird... so i'm going to perfect them for a while then move to the clipper stall. After I get that down I'll go for the... Dex I think he said. But yet again thanks so much. :D

Dude, Nick! Ryan is the blonde haired kid that hung out with us at Funtastiks, that stayed at the RV like a few over from mine. He couldn't freestyle then, but I gave him a footbag a week before Funtastiks and he hacked with us and stuff. Remember?

Hopefully there will be some sort of jam/tourney in PA again sometime. I know for a fact there will be one this summer, hosted by Bob, Zach and I.
