Is there a room open with 2 spots? If we got there on the 26th and left on the 30th, would we be able to crash at somebody's house on the non-hotel nights?

Hey, a few of the RFA crew are interested in getting over to Chicago for this fine event, and since I see there's some sort of hype going on, I thought I'd chime in. Chris Dean, Doug Tank and I are all looking for a place to stay. Anyone have crash space or is it the hotel for us?

I would suggest the hotel. It's attached to the event site and most everyone stays there. It's one of the reasons why NYJ is so awesome. Most everyone is together in one place.

Hotel all the way.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

If you need floor space let me know. $40 for both nights. This is the place where everyone eats and chills until late, so keep that in mind.

Using telepathy? Sweet. I heard a great suggestion but I don't remember from who: if there is a net set up, can there also be something set up to keep the netbags from rolling all over the place? Might make it more enjoyable for all. But I figure I'll leave it up to the net crowd to figure out how best to resolve.

Any freestylers interested in Net? I'm thinking about bringing a pair of shoes that might work for some sweet set kicks. :)

Wow, it looks like at the least Waylon, Ted, Sebastian, and I will be up for net, so that's a doubles match right there. I know Chicago has some pure net fellows as well, so they're sure to show.

Nice.

lol Ken.

Does anyone know if the school of the art institute of Chicago is within walking distance of the hotel? I'm going to be taking a tour there some time while I'm there and I'm just curious.

Thanks.
