My first 3 facile bags. 5th 6th and 7th overall including the terrible canvas like material i was practicing with. Number 1 (Red and Green) is a 32 with triangles which i rushed a bit. Consequently it is slightly too gathered and i stuffed up the blind stitch. Number 2 is a 14 with waaay too much gather. This was my first time trying a 14. It is very small because of this. Number 3 and my latest one is the dark blue one and I am rather happy with how this turned out. I was patient with stitching it and made myself only stitch a couple full panels at a time. I still believe there is ever so slightly too much gather, but I am not experienced at all. Sorry for my ramblings guys and gals. I'll be sure to keep stitching and adding my photogs

not bad!
work a bit on your consistency (easier said than done ) and they should be really good.

My second 12 panel and first smaller one. Small one is about the size of a golf ball and 45g just under 3/4 full. Large one is obviously a bit larger haha and is around 60g at just over 1/2 full. Sticks on the foot like no tomorrow.
Just went through the tedious process of cutting out 108 panels for 9 12's. All the same as the larger bag above. Going to try sell them to mates at a climbing festival I'm going to in October Fun fun fun

I hate sewing 12 panels... But these look really good. Did you try 14 panels? I think they are easier sew and faster too

Yeah I tried a 14 or two but they didn't turn out that well. I think I'll try one again soon after all these 12 panels. Might turn out a bit better.

5 claw variation. Call it "grab a rainbow and run for it"
It's a mini, and I was wondering if minis are still a thing. Is there still a market for these? I feel like I didn't sell one in years. Anyone using minisize?

Never used anything different!!!
But from my stitching experience, I guess only a selected few are really using minis nowadays.
btw.: nice bag

Re: Bags You've Made
Hey, I haven't posted in a bit. Here are some I have made since then.
First off, I made this bag, had a session with it, and sold it to Mikey shortly after. No break-in blur with tiger material.
Ok, now here are a bunch that will go to NYJ with me.
Top row L to R: Mini alternative bipolar bag; lobster bag, 4color spike 14panel; green 14panel with red spikes; random design; atomic with tulip, ceramic teal, and dark pink color.
Bottom row L to R: autumn-themed blur; 2color radiation (with red amaretta); hex-based rings; blur with shiny material from Ivan; Brian Bear's blur pattern with all different browns; eggplant amaretta hexes and grass green hexes; active green pents and purple hexes; green grape hexes and red vinyl pents; brown amaretta hexes and eggplant amaretta pents.
The all-amaretta bag in the bottom right is my favorite. It will require no break-in.

Re: Bags You've Made
April and I got the tiger fabric from Ivan. I think he got it from Joann Fabrics. It's a flimsy material that is backed by a polyester weave. The bag above turned out great though. Also, I think this may be it...

Re: Bags You've Made
Yeah, Ivan and I got the tiger fabric together 2 years ago at Joannes Fabrics. Nice bags, Ben. I like the variety in appearance in that picture.
