IT IS APPROACHING!!!
Lets have some football talk (fantasy and non both appreciated). I'll start by addressing a few topics.
Derrick Mason retired suddenly today after a glorious NFL career, finishing 23rd all time in receptions. I hope he makes the hall of fame, but I'm not sure he will. He said that his heart isn't in it anymore, but he's still got it! Cmon dmason!
Here is my top 10 for fantasy this year, which is highly debatable after the number 1 pick (which we all agree is AP):
1. Adrian
2. LT
3. Forte
4. MJD
5. SJax
6. Turner
7. Deangelo Williams
8. Slaton
9. Fitzgerald
10. Chris Johnson
I honestly have no idea what the draft is looking like and I am a HUGE LT2 Homer, so that is why he is number 2. I think he'll fall to the last first round though, which is where I plan to get him in every draft.

I don't think there's any way the Giants receivers can keep up what they're doing. I think the Saints will probably win that game.
I like Atlanta a lot too. I want Tony G to have a good year with them.

Any super bowl predictions? Colts have some bad injuries (no Dwight Freeney) but they seem to rise to the occasion when they need to. I'll go with Indy, if for no other reason than to provoke Rob Creel. But seriously I'd be happy to see New Orleans win their first Super Bowl, its just hard to pick against Indy.
I have been watching a little NFL this season, since it's on TV in Australia these days. I'm going for New Orleans tomorrow, but if I were betting on the game, I'd bet on the Colts. I was going for the Minnesota Vikings for most of the season because the touch footy team I'm playing for is called the Vikings. That was a disappointing last game, although exciting.

I'm thinking we might see a Manning v Manning Superbowl. I'm becoming more convinced that the Colts will represent the AFC, and I'd say the Giants are the most likely to come out of the NFC.
