I think its still way to early to compare it to the likes of mozilla and ie.
however ... i think it will be a contender soon enough.

I pretty much have to use Microsoft products because of work. So I haven't even bothered with Chrome yet because I know all the Microsoft web-based shit isn't gonna work well with it.

That's funny. We're not supposed to use explorer at work because of security fears. I've been using chrome since it came out. It's definitely a lot quicker than firefox, which I really like. Apart from that it probably isn't as good yet, but I'm sure it will improve a lot, which is why I started using it - I figure it's going to be the best browser fairly soon, so I might as well get accustomed now. Also I'm very unsentimental about software, and change programs for all kinds of things whenever something new comes along, even if it's not any good. I don't mind the new facebook either
.
The other really cool thing about google chrome is that you can use the incognito mode to vote in online polls as many times as you like (you have to close your incognito window and then open a new one each time). This doesn't work for all polls, but it works for a lot.

I refused to vote: The category "it rocks my jocks" isn't up there.

Google chrome is slow for you? What browser are you currently using?
If I open a window of each, I have Chrome using 10k of memory, Firefox at 35k and IE at 27k

I just reformatted my computer and decided to try Chrome out, so far I'm liking it a lot. Of course it needs some work, it's still in BETA form, but it's crazy fast, and thats enough for me.

I haven't noticed any problems with youtube. I have had a few problems with facebook though - very trivial.
