well...if we use the rule of no uptime, then the entire string would be good except for the plo and dimwalk...and i think we are most likely going to use that rule, but nothing is definite yet.

Troy, I think you should note that many new players these days learn uptime sets before they learn all the basics!
I play with 6 Japanese guys who are just learning, and most of them learned pixie and fairy set on one side before illusion! They could only hit easy moves like pixie toe or fairy ss clipper in strings, but none the less, uptime.

Also does that mean I can enter something like torque > blender > barfly > spanishfly > pdx torque > pdx blender > pdx eggbeater > ducking dlo > symp eggbeater > ducking mofly ?? That's all downtime :)

it certainly IS tiltess, as it is composed of all 2 adds or better. this just happens to be the 'or better' part

I'm opposed to restricting uptime sets..I think it will really limit this competition.

Funk's suggestion of just letting this one run its course, then modifying the next competition accordingly will work well. Let's just see how this turns out.

if you limited this comp to downtime only, no 3s then who would win between:

pixie>mirage> legover> illusion> pixie >clip> op clip> spinning toe> mirage> ducking toe
vs.
clip> op clip> spinning toe> mirage> ducking toe>legover> legover>fairy >pixie>pixie

If both people had equally good form and execution, you couldn't determine a winner. People should be able to:
1)hit 3 add moves
2)do sets if they want to try them
3) hit downtime moves or all uptime moves
4)try to hit all 3s

Personally, I'd prolly rank an all unique atring of well linked 2s and 3s over a sloppier run of 10 consec 3 adds.

Its fine if people use uptime sets...i was just suggesting an idea, snd it seems like you guys dont like it, so we will just let people do whatever. I will still have a primarily downtime run anyway :P

The unforunate thing about a poll, is that it doesn't really tell you anything apart from who got first. That is why the online sick1 and sick3 switched from Poll to voting very early on. It sucks only having 1st place.

If poll is the way you will be doing it, someone PM me when the event goes up and I will make it a poll for you... unless normal users have permission to make polls? I don't remember if they do.

i dont mean a poll like with the buttons, i meant polling modifieders as the judges. like sick 1 and 3 are done, if im not mistaken. i was just saying that to answere who will judge it, anyone can cast a vote. and with the option to vote for as many or as few as we want, typed ballots of the sick 1,3 kind work best.

Okay, seems like all the votes are in, so anything less than guiltless goes.

I just voted..and now it's tied :)

I think NO 3 adds is just silly. The tiltless majority seems like a pretty fair thing, though.

Due date entended to the 31st of the month! I planned it in the middle of the month originally so it wouldn't interfere with other events. Hope this helps everyone out.

Dammit, I probably won't be able to enter. Stupid lacrosse conditioning!!! It hurts to walk right now, and probably will for a long time.

I don't believe I have recieved any entries... maybe people forgot there were only 28 days this month.

If anyone still cares, let me know!

I won't be competing because all my bags suck at the moment.
