bryan's footbag log
i love metal and rap but i cant kick to it. i listen to cage the elephant or something even more low key at times like jack johnson. and if your into hiphop try out MC Lyte, shes also realy good to kick to. but if your like a speed kicker unlike myself tryout some chevele, their not bad at all.

What the hell is MGMT?
Anyway, I don't usually even listen to music when I'm playing. But if I do, it's gotta be energetic, upbeat, and happy, but NOT techno. Personally, I can't stand most techno because of how repetitive it tends to be. Rap has the same problem plus no melody most of the time. Lots of 8 and 16 bit videogame music is good for me(Capcom and Tecmo made a lot of good stuff), as well as just about anything from TimeSpliters and Tobal.

I feel the same way, which is why I listen to club hits on slacker radio.
Club Hits takes popular top 20 songs and remixes them for dancing in a club. It is great because:
1.) I don't know the words all the time, so I am not always singing along in my head
2.) It is not techno
3.) It has a great base line and beat that is good for shredding
4.) motivating
I have tried making playlists but they always get boring after a while.

Go out and shred already.

Sphongle, Infected Mushroom, Pendulum, Freeland, Cosmosis, Hot Sauce Johnson, Slightly Stoopid, Sublime.. just to name a few.. Definitely psytrance gets my adrenaline goin. I've been trying to listen to some slower stuff though as I get going way to fast on some songs. Lotta good rhythms with that dub style/reggae too.
