Post by Xain » 16 Jan 2006 12:47

I just got my pair in today... any suggestions?

as far as mods go though, theres are my nice shoes for a while. maybe in a month or 3 I'll try to mod them up for shredding.

If you aren't modding them yet, what kind of suggestions are you looking for? :P

Looks like a standard under-the-eyelet cut would work fine, and relace them just like a pair of Lavers. How's the clipper wall look? You might need to cut out the Cock..if there is one. I can only find limited angles of this shoe.

Le Coq makes some awesome footbagging shoes, as far as theory goes..just a little hard to find.

yeah... lavers are almost certainly better than the smash cups.

out of the box with only the basic toe box and lacing mods, lavers are better. some huge modding needs to happen to the insides I think, because the sole comes up a little to high, and creates an un-desireable angle. And you would have to cut out the cock, and who wants to do that?

I guess I won't know until I've tried, but it seems like they have less potential than lavers.

Can you get a picture of the instep, Chris? I'd like an indepth look of the insides to see what you mean by the sole coming up a bit high.

I think i see what you mean. The sole seems to have a groove that's not as flat as the Lavers. It really does seem to have a bit inward/higher curve that makes for more bag roll-off.
